A pair of Nike dri-fit pants for $25.

They're 34x34 which is a bit longer than what I usually wear so I'll just get em hemmed tomorrow and save $40 off the normal price for them.

If ordering online counts, I just picked up a Nike Sasquatch Tour Stand bag. They are being cleared out and are going fast.  I was being indecisive about getting the red or the black and ended up with neither because they sold out too fast.  I am not a Nike fan at all, so it was the silver over the attention grabbing yellow.  The Sun Mountain Four 5 and the Titleist 14 way are still too cost prohibitive following the holiday spending extravaganza we call x-mas.  I am sure I will be happy with it, as my irons getting tangled up in my current 7 way (non full length dividers) is pretty much the largest aggravation for me out on the course.

It should be here in the next week or so which will give me plenty of time to ScotchGuard the hell out of it before the season starts, ha ha...

Picked up 2 dozen TP Blacks a week ago, I still love those golf balls, I may need to get some more in case they disappear off the shelves.

Did a full custom core fitting for all clubs in bag, reshafted and regripped my 6 iron to see how I like it and plan redo entire shaft package based on results from from fitting. Also got refit for a new putter...sad day for old long one. i got a Rife seomthing or other, i had them add quite a bit of weight to it (40 grams i think) and cut it back to 30". it puts me closer to the ball with my feet and lines up my eyes much better over the ball...nothing like going from a 46" putter to 30" one!!

All in all i was 420.00 bucks into the trip and only had a new putter and and new 6 iron shaft!! by the time i get done i will be in for at least 2k in custom fittings, new shafts and all new wood / hybrid package.

It was and will be totally worth it though, when i saw my swing charts, how i load the club and what the various shafts do I was shocked. i had no idea i was so far out of wack with my equipment!!

The last week I bought a pair of FootJoy AQJ golfshoes and FJ glove.

I bought a pair of Footjoy Contours (all white) and a bag of tees.  I was going to get the Trues but they didn't have the all whites and and on top of that I couldn't bring myself to spend that much; plus I really liked the FJs, especially for less than half the price.

On GolfBallNut.com I bought 2 dz 2010 Titleist NXT Tours.

I also bought a new digital camera today off eBay... a Casio EX-FS10... the primary purpose for this will be to take high speed video of my swing.

Picked up a Scotty Newport 2.6 35" as a Bday gift to myself today. Needed a change from a mallet. Been playing mallets for the last 4 years. Oh and a set of FJ Sports the other day

Traded in my Adams Idea Tech A4 and Odyssey White Hot #1 for a Scotty Newport 2 and an Adams Idea Pro Black 19*. And got last year's Bridgestone B330 for $20/dozen.

Mine is more about what I didn't (actually couldn't buy).   I hit Golf Galaxy Friday evening planning on buying some golf pants, a couple shirts, probably some new wedges, and perhaps a pair of shoes.   In clothing they were out of my size in anything I halfway liked, and didn't have the wedges in the right specs either.   So I headed to Golf Mart (San Diego area's largest golf store) and found the same problem there.   Tried Golfsmith next...same problem.     All of the stores seemed to be maintaining inventories at pretty low levels, especially the Golf Galaxy.    I'm guessing it's part of extensive cost trimming with the economic impact to this "luxury" sport, but pretty discouraging for those of us who actually were trying to spend money.

It's the end of the season, manufacturers aren't sending out their new clothing lines just yet. Give it a month or two and they'll be stocked to the ceiling with new gear.

I bought 3 dozen Bridgestones on Saturday, there was a 4 day sale here on all golf balls with the exception of ProV1 or V1x, buy 2 dozen get 1 dozen free, too hard to pass on that deal.
