Watching the 1st round of the Byron Nelson...his putting is awful with his new standard putter, I could putt as well as he is, man...what a train wrecK!!

ps. not a Serg fan, but damn! Missing 2 footers.... and also 8 footers by 2 feet...left!

I'd be pissed if he was a scramble partner!

Yeah. I've always thought some guys have that putting naturally, and some don't. There's only so much you can do to fix it. I think it's holding a few guys back such as Bubba Watson (more so his short game), Sergio, and Adam Scott, just to mention a few.

Apparently when he was an amateur his putting was so good you could give him any putt inside 15 foot

Even the belly wont help this lad.. he's got the yips something feirce. Everytime he grabs the flatstick he shakes in fear. Hopefully he can over come it because he wont win anything significant without it.

I am not a fan of Sergio but it is really hard to watch. I consider myself a pretty awful putter and all kidding aside I think I could putt as well as he did first round at the Byron. Maybe he should just take some serious time off to clear his head. I can't imagine that playing right now and missing all those putts is going to help him any....

it's all in the head. changing putter only increases your choices - the less you have the better sometimes...
