Tiger just fatted a wedge from 119. I feel better about myself now.

I'll be very interested to see how BDC follows up what he did yesterday.

I suspect Scottie Scheffler will be as steady as always.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Tiger looks like he is hurting this morning which is not surprising. You knew a split round would not be good for him. Going to be a big challenge to get through the day.

FWIW, Tiger outdrove both Homa and Day by a lot on 14. Hope his back loses up.

People talk about slow play. I just watched Jordan Spieth take about 6 months to hit a 3-4 foot putt on 13.

Does Jordan always take that long?

Tiger is leaving it short on a lot of putts.

Harman with a 47 (forty seven!) on the back nine!! He’s either ill or has  forgotten he plays golf. Holed a nice putt on the last as well.

As much as I like The Masters, I'm not a fan of the size and choice of field. It feels less exciting with such a small number of players that can realistically win it and create some excitement on the leaderboard.

I don't know exactly, but something that adds to the number of players. The chance of anyone added having a chance to win are quite small, but someone just not making it could have a good week, or a few good days. Something more like the other majors and Players.

I'd also set a limit on how long the old champions can participate.

Why?
Who's the past champion who's ruining the tournament for you?

Nobody is ruining it, but seeing Sandy Lyle year after year didn't add to the tournament. I'd just like the players in the field to be current professionals. I'd rather have more amateurs or players qualifiying from somewhere else, even if they end up shooting the same score as Lyle did. Maybe it will change as I get older. I started watching golf sometime in the 2000's, so the older champions are not players I've watched in their prime, but I don't feel like watching Singh, Garcia, Reed and Weir either. I'm more focused on the future than the past.

They're not taking spots away from anyone, @Zeph. So until you figure out what types of players you want to add to these fields… the past champions can stay given this fact.

I know they don't with the way they pick the field today, but if they changed it, those players could be replaced by someone else without having to increase the field.

It's also because I don't care about watching old champions play the tournament.
