whats the most you've paid for a putter??

$200 for my Odyessy 2 Ball SRT putter.

I really like it, though.

The other day, played 9 holes, and had 4 putts between the 20' and 30' range with some nasty breaks. Lipped 'em all out.

I think my putting is finally coming around.

I actually am more confident putting from 20' out than I am from the 8-10' area.

When i started the shop where i used to by my stuff had a Ping Redwood Anser on prominent display. I tried it - and thought, wow that thing feels nice - i looked at the price tag and ugh - put it back on the shelf - i am NOT spending 300 € for a "PUTTER". What a mistake...

After shelling out a lot of money for about 5 putters so far (most of them lasted a week or so) i thought, what the heck, lets give the Anser a try - and here i am - probably could have saved a ton if i went with my guts the first time since the other putter werent really cheapish either...

So if you think you want a putter really bad - dont look on the price tag (if you can afford it) and go for it.

Paid around $115 for an Odyssey White Steel #5 about 4 yrs ago.
I think I'd be hard pressed to pay any more than $200 for a putter but probably would if I fell in love with the thing.

$300 for the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Studio Select. I just got it yesterday and I am going to send it in to the custom shop as soon as I figure out what I want to have done. All told, it will be in the neighborhood of $500 or more.

Just sent mine into the custom shop. Total bill including putter and all custom work: just a tad under $700.

Ssshhh! Don't tell the wife. lol It was her anniversary present to me. It has been a great five years!

I paid $35 for my Odyssey White Hot #5. I really like it, but I'm saving my money to get a Scotty. It will be a while, as I'm a college student and have more important things to spend money on. But putted with a Scotty during a match in high school. Got a ride with someone, got rear ended. So i ended up playing with a rental set from the course, and the pro let me have my pick of putters to use. :) I ended up shooting my best score for the year, mainly due to a great putting day.

Its funny people don't have a problem droping $400 bills on a driver but some have trouble spending mula on a putter. I tried a ton of putters, would test them at the store, buy them, and field test them. I spent so much time picking the right putter, but I am OCD to the max!!! finally found a great putter, I feel comfortable putting and it shows when I put. It just so happens to be a Scotty!!! and I paid $250

Finally somebody else said it. Right on brotha!
