How cool would this be!

I saw this article and thought it was cool. But I'd rather go drinking with Tiger. I think he'd be more impressed with my drinking than my golfing. I'm probably a single digit drinker, but not scratch.

I've read where Steve Williams said that Tiger was a very funny guy, but most of his stuff can't be put on TV or in print because it's too...well...I'm not offended by anything, so it would make for a good guys night out.

I think that would have been super cool, and I don't know what I would do. Hit it all over the place to have more time t chat with him, or play so good that he gets me free gear from Nike, I can dream right?

He warned how fast the greens were, then chuckled as Abel five-putted the 10th for a quadruple-bogey 8.

Hahaha, with Tiger watching you, I suspect the tensions is a bit higher than normal, but a 5-putt? Hehe. Great to see Tiger out again, I hope he'll be fit for the next season.

Yeah, I think I would be a little nervous too ... I would probably 5-putt from 18 inches. Never mind thinking about what I would do off the tee with Tiger watching ... *eek*("fore!")

This had to be a super-cool experience for this guy; but, I, too, have to agree that sitting down for an hour or so with Tiger over "A Frothy Adult Beverage" would be the better of the two experiences.

I can't imagine how nervous I would have been. Heck I get nervous at the 1st tee ball with a bunch of hacks standing around.

I didn't read the article from this, but I did see a similar article recently, and I think the guy was playing because he had won something from Nike that included the clubs.

I didn't read the article, so I don't know how good of a golfer the guy is...but a 5-putt? Ouch. *Knocking on wood* I can't remember the time I had more than a 3-putt.
A friend of mine played Torrey Pines about a year ago when it was already at "US Open" difficulty. He didn't talk about the greens being such a problem but said that the fairways were very narrow and rolled to the point that even a drive down the middle could still result in the ball rolling off the side and into the primary cut.

In the bag:

It was the "Tee Off With Tiger" contest and it was put on by Buick. It doesn't say anything in the article about clubs.
