Help Finalize Brewery Name

So I've narrowed it down to 8. Please let me know which one you like the most or if you have a better suggestion, I would love to hear it. I'm trying to name by golf inspired brewery.

You could name the beers as such

1 Up Ale, 4 & 3 Lager, etc...

I have 2 additional name suggestions:

the obvious - 19th Hole Brewing Co.

the more nuanced (like good beer should be) - What If Brewing Co.
as in..."what if - I used a 5 instead of a 4.iron.

Of those listed I like Albatross. But I'll also throw in Front9 or Back9, Muscleback, and The Tee Box.

Some of those might already be taken. Have you looked into that yet? Might narrow the field, and it'd suck to choose a great one only to find it's been taken.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't doubt that half are already chosen. You might get into some trouble if you name it Double Eagle Brewery Co. when someone else owns an Eagle Brewery Co.

The Albatross one sounds good. I'm not getting the whole golf inspired thing though. Was there a prior thread that I missed? How many people know how an albatross relates to golf...besides people from this site?

This isn't going to be a licensed business. I'm a homebrewer that wants to come up with some cool logos and labels when I pass out the beer to people. I won't be selling anything so I'm not worried about that.

But I did check and there isn't an Albatross Brewing Company anywhere.

I brew a lot of beer and on a pretty big scale but it's not an official business, it's more of an obsessive hobby

I like the double eagle suggestion. albatross does not conjure up golf with non-golf people. double eagle suggests there is a story behind the name. albatross IMO, sounds like a boring name, and IMO, no one will take the time to find out the story behind the name.

I voted on the earlier thread for double eagle, in fact I think I was the first to mention it. Remember I said the young cats could come in the bar and order a "dub". Haha. I think it would make for a great crest/logo. But I have to agree that although Albatross seems the coolest on the list, it is a bit obscure even among certain golfers. But that obscurity may help you in not naming the company like another existing company.

I like the ABC progression of Albatross Brewing Company. White bird on label would stand out and be recognizable.

Of the ones you mentioned, I like ALbatross. But, someone listed Muscleback and I think that would be an awesome name.
