Besides working at the golf course, I also work for a real estate company in Beverly Hills in the mornings. After leaving this afternoon to make my commute to the course, I was driving down Olympic Blvd. and spotted this thing coming.

The thing rolled bye with one hell of a rumble!

On top of that I saw two Austin Martins. People have some serious money around those parts!

I've always wondered what my "rich car" would be: when I become obscenely rich, what kind of car would I buy?

Everyone in south Florida, for example, had Jaguars and Porsches. I'd have to go with an Aston Martin or something a little less popular. I don't want to be like everyone else.

Of course, whether I'd actually be able to make myself drive it anywhere is another story...

For my personal driving pleasure, I'd probably get a Lexus SC (two door hardtop convertible), but for having other people drive me around, the Maybach . *drool*

Saw one of those on the street a few months back.

Today saw a Lamborgini Murcielago (or however you spell it) and one of those massive new Rolls Royce beasts. As far as what car I'd drive if funds were unlimited, my list is larger than the day is long. Don't even get me started.

no doubt for me - 911 RS4 Turbo. "Only" $140K.
There was a show on the speedvision - ferrari, lamborghini, viper, amg and porsche. Viper was the fastest, ferrari had the best accel, but ONLY one car was able to make the oval track @140mph without slowing down in the turns. Guess which one ;)

Porsches are for girly men with small you-know-whats! Every wanker in south Florida has a freakin' Porsche. And plenty of women.

There are Porsche's and there is 911 R4 Turbo. If you talk about Boxters It's like comparing Dodge Breeze to a Viper

Incidentally, I meant that plenty of women have Porsches, not that girly men with small you-know-whats have plenty of women. Sorry. Grammar police sentenced me to 30 minutes reading the style manual of my choice.

If you like M5 you'd like this one better :

Very, very nice. I've been hoping that they're going to be coming into production with them in the US but news has been few and far between. Mercedes has been hoing the E55 all around, I've never seen so many in my life, hopefully bmw won't make the same production mistakes as mercedes.

So much Porsche hate there iacas! And speaking of Porsches I saw the sweetest setup yesterday driving to the course. Porsche Cayenne trailering his raced out 80's 911 coupe. He had a bunch of spare racing wheels and everything. Man that was nice!

M6 would be pretty sweet too!

I don't think we have to worry about that

I'm expecting the price tag of about 140K, that should limit them drastically. You can get a lot of different cars for that money... V10 is sweet. of course 500+ HP and 250+ mph aren't bad either

Getting coffee this morning. I came out and a Ferrari Enzo was parked right behind me. A gentleman about 10 to 20 years older than me got out. Then he scooted around the car and let a major smoke show out of the passenger side. I assume that was his daughter... or granddaughter... right? …. right?

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

With Ferrari money, I doubt it, especially if he opened the door for her to get out.

They're not that rare to spot by me, but there's also a dealership not too far from my house.

My comment was a little tongue and cheek. I'm sure it was NOT his Granddaughter.... maybe his Granddaughter's best friend???

    • Huh? That's the niche of these mini-drivers. They can still work off the tee and off the fairway. They're designed for and work for both things, which is all that blurb says. You can see from the photos that it's a bit of a deeper face, which I find is more important off the tee than the fairway.
    • This statement doesn't make much sense to me.  So, I think the push and pull between a 3-wood meant for off the turf versus off the tee is how tall the face is on the 3-wood. I do not get how this mini driver would be good off the turf, or at least get the height needed to stop the ball as a normal 3-wood meant for off the ground. Maybe they care more about hitting the 3-wood off the tee versus off the turf. Nearly every strike would be low on the clubface relative to the CG location.  I would take that statement as more as marketing over what you would actually expect the club to perform.
    • No, not that Minnie Driver. This one: It's a mini driver from Titleist, available for Tour validation/testing starting this week at Kapalua. It's available in righty and lefty and is only in 13° models for now. GT280 is a direct result of Titleist’s collaboration with PGA TOUR players on the development and testing of the TSR 2W prototype, which debuted on TOUR at last year’s PLAYERS Championship. With many players seeking an additional option at the top end of their setup, Titleist tour reps and R&D engineers worked with players such as Cameron Young and Will Zalatoris to dial in a 13-degree head that worked as a go-to club off the tee and off the deck. Now on Tour: New Titleist GT280 The arrival of the 2025 PGA TOUR season this week in Maui brings with it an addition to Titleist’s breakthrough line of GT metalwoods: the new Titleist GT280.
