I have been fighting this for the last 3 weeks or so. I shot 56 for nine Sat. morning and threw my hands in the air. My friend called Sunday morning and wanted to go out and play our make up round from our golf league (after I told him what I shot of course, the weasel). I went to the course with the attitude that I was going to take whatever butt whoopin was due me and enjoy the day. I shot 42 (12 putts) and 44 (16 putts). I felt focus over each shot instead of pressure to execute. When I hit a bad shot, I realized what I did and made the adjustment instead of beating myself up.

Moral of the story (I think), find your love for the game and you will play better.

i think im actually becoming a worse golfer.my iron game is letting me down,i just cant seem to make them do what i want anymore its frustrating, anyone else have this problem?if so how long did it take to get over it?

For me, these are the thoughts I start thinking right before I shoot my best round ever! Hang in there....you will get through the slump

you have to be thankful, because when my golf game goes down, when it comes back its better than before..... similar to growing pains.

I would recommend focusing on your wedge play and only practice pitch shots under 50 yards.

practice until you make solid consistent contact and work back up to your irons. I found that if I focus on my take away and position of the backswing its help my overall iron play and even my driver swing.

be patient and let it happen.

    • Also, Scottie seems to have been unaware that he was actually a full-on police officer, as he had the bright yellow reflective jacket on. He seems to have confused them with a volunteer type "traffic marshal" or something. I may not be wording that well, but I'm basically saying… he might not have recognized he was a full-on police officer. It was dark, early, and confusing.
