Take a look in my signature and you'll see a combo set. I just got them this week after playing Titleist DCI 962's for 12 years. They are the perfect combo of forgiveness in the long irons and workability and control in the short ones.

In my sack:

Driver: VR STR-8 Fit Tour 10.5 VooDoo stiff
3 wood: 909F2 13.5* stiff Diamana
Hybrid: Rescue 19* stiff3-6: MP 52 S3007-PW: MP 62 S300Wedges: 54-12, 58-8Putter: Newport 2 TeI3

Mizuno here as well, MP-32's. I have no idea Callaway would be ahead of Titleist though. I always thought that there were a ton of die-hard Titleist fans on this forum.

I am currently shopping around for some new irons though. I love my MP-32's but they are getting a bit worn out from being used so often. I have been trying out clubs from Callaway and Titleist and Taylormade, but I just can't go back... haha. The Mizuno's really do give off a sensation and feeling that no other club (that I have tried so far) can match. I thought I would love the AP2's from some of the reviews I have read, and although they are pretty damn good, I think my next set of irons will still be Mizuno's!

Recently I bought Titleist ZB Forged 3-PW and without a doubt they are really great irons. It's very easy to make a controllable draw or fade and even a straight shot. The feel of hitting the sweetspot is really great.

I'm in love with Titleist.

Callaway X-18R's......My first set of actual clubs. I was using Turbo Power sticks, but now I wish I just bought the Callaway's to begin with. I do love my Mizuno MP Fli-Hi hybrid iron, though. Maybe a Mizuno set will be in my bag in the future(as long as my girlfriend doesn't find out)

Ping, always have always will. At 15.6 index I need all the forgiveness the club has to offer. Can't count the number of times I have hit the ball and said "nice Ping miss".

I'm under the impression that Titleist are for mid-to-low handicappers.

As a Callaway fan I have to admit Mizuno's are sleek and classy looking.

I play Mizunos because they are the best and I have a feeling Mizuno is going to win this poll.
Id expect Titleist and Callaway to be a close 2nd and 3rd though.

Does seems like a cult sometimes. But obviously the Mizuno crowd feels the same about their equipment as Titleist fans do. From Driver to ball, it's Titleist. I mean, how many people with older Taylor Made drivers bring them out to game every now and then? Ask the same question to an owner of a Titleist 905. From my cold dead hands...

I always admired Mizuno irons and finally went with the MP32s. I even spent almost the cost of the set getting custom fitted and re-shafting with rifle shafts. After playing with them for two years I went to Pings (i10) and have never looked back.

    • Live Updates from the range! Open the club face at address, and trust that you’re gonna be able to get the face in a good position at impact. I don’t have to feel like I have to keep the face open throughout the entire downswing. The swing feels much more free-flowing through impact. Difference in ball flight is that previously it would be a low to mid trajectory that starts straight and draw left, or slight pulls. New ball flight are high push draws.  It’s kind of stupid. I feel like it should slice off the planet. I look up and it’s maybe a slight push. 🤣 Some distant wedge feels. More weight on front foot. Keep weight on front foot.  Pivot around left knee. Solid contact all the time.

    • Day 2:  I hit a bucket of balls this morning.  Not gonna lie, almost didn’t go since it was my first time going alone and it was a little intimidating.  I mostly hit with my driver (the last bit of balls was with my 7 iron).  The sun was in my face but I think the ones that had good contact with went the furthest yet (maybe 150 yards then a good roll?).  Once I switched to my 7, the first half of my balls were crap.  I’ve always hit my irons before my driver when practicing and done fine - does this make any difference or is it just because I’m so green?
    • It's likely per "category" of clubs, so irons would be one category, wedges would be a category, driver a category, fairway woods/hybrid a category, etc. They aren't going to charge you $50 per iron for a fitting. Almost all iron fittings are done with like a 6 or 7 iron, fitters don't carry full sets of every iron. So yes, if you use a 7 iron for the fitting and let's say you get fit into the P790 with a certain shaft, 1 degree flat and .5" longer than normal you would just order the full set of P790s with that shaft/lie angle/length combination and you'll be perfectly fine.
