I have two 9 hole rounds at -1 (35). No 18 hole rounds under par though. My first time shooting under for nine was preceded by +15 (51) on the front.
Don't forsee myself going under for 18...

Once shot 70 on a par 72 course with a bogey on the last hole. Blew the chance to reach the promised land of the sixties. My son dogged me to no end about that bogey. I've shot 74 a couple times since. That's the closest I've come to repeating the feat.

I've shot under par on 9 holes several times, but the snowmen eventually ruined the rounds...

Shot my first 18 hole round under today! A nice -2 on a par 71 course for a nice 69. It's tough to do for 18 holes I have shot one under or better for nine probably 20 times, but finally breakin thru and putting a full round together is a good feelin. It's also pretty nice to finally shoot in the 60's. it could have been even better too if I hadn't 3 putted the last par 5 for par.

Many times but never on a course with a course rating of 72 or higher. Two to four strokes above the course rating are good rounds for me.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
