Q) To you single digit guys and low teen handicappers, how long did it take you to get there?

I've been playing golf for 8 years, but started playing seriously about 3 years ago. I had the right idea's but my swing was terrible, and I had no fundamentals. I didn't get lessons till about 5 months ago.

Q: What's the highest score you've ever shot in a round?

Like 125 or something. I quit keeping score, I really sucked that day. The very next day, I shot an 83.

Q?- Did you go to church this morning?

A: No I did not.

Q: How many holes do you play a week?

A: 18, when I'm lucky, 36.

Q: Do you wear a white belt?

A: Not since 1976

Q: What is the strongest part of your game?

right now, most everything is clicking, but 90% of the time, when I have my 60 in my hand, i'm deadly. I wish it was my putter though.

Q?-Have you ever been in a fight, if yes, explain?

A. Yes. Two of them to be precise. The first was in 7th grade with my best friend. He was a Ritalin kid whose dad smoked pot all the time and was pretty much disconnected from the world. I think my friend wanted to see if I would stick around when the going gets tough so he started egging me on. The fight started in the street, somehow we ended up in the front yard, then we were inside for a while, I told him to chill because I needed some water and a breather, we took a break for about 5 minutes and started wailing on each other again. Then after about an hour of fighting total combined with dual nosebleeds, we called it quit and went to watch a movie. Our relationship went to a whole new level. The second was in high school. It was a little one sided and I'm not proud of it. Thankfully his parents didn't sue.

Q. Other than Tiger, who would you most like to caddy for a day?

Second fight must of been a bad one. I've been sucker punched in the nose, went straight to the jail-house and pressed charges.

Answer to your question is definitely Phil. I would, because I love the way he plays aggressive golf. Go big or go home right.

Q?-Have you ever been out of your home country? What for?

A: Many times, for work (Netherlands, France, China, Taiwan, Japan, Guam, Saipan, Thailand), and many many times for pleasure (long list).

Q: Did you gain/lose any friends by taking up golf?

No I haven't been out of the country.

Winning a 27 hole tourney by 16 and shooting even for the first time ever with 25 people watching.

Do you like par 3s, 4s or 5s better?

I like par 4s best. I look forward to the fives cause I hit long so I can usually get close in 2 (or on if I'm really feeling it with my hybrid that day), and I pitch fairly well so the 5s are much better birdie opportunities than the rest for me, but there's nothing like a solid drive and then dropping a mid iron right where you wanted it and sticking it...

Q: What's the fewest, and most, putts you've made in a round? (As in total, given that you "make" 18 putts every round!)

Q: How often do you actually "work" the ball?

When I have to. As of right now, I have a pin seeking fade with my short irons, so I use it all the time. That's why I need to get my draw back down, because on the course I've been playing lately, there are two holes that demand a draw from me, and I've been OB on them everytime. At least it's a scramble, lol. One reason it's critical though is because it's a 9 hole course.

Q?- What's one of the biggest regrets you've ever had?

A: Back in the day, a chubby chick I woke up with, a bunch of broken stuff in my dorm room, and a pissed off roommate.

Q: What's your biggest golf purchase regret?

A) Set of Callaway X18 irons.

B) Matchplay or Strokeplay?

A: if money if on the line... match play is most exciting, but stroke play is the true test... so final answer is a little of the former and more of the latter.

Q: group of guys you know take a golf vacation every year to a place blessed with literally 100's of great courses (Northern MI)... would you rather play different courses every year or the same courses (like these dumbies do)?
