I'm really disappointed Vince went home...i thought he was solid. Blake is more annoying than Andrew at this point. He needs to go now! Grow up!

yeah i know what you mean. When the show very first started i was rooting for blake and wanted him to win. But now i just think he has way to much of a temper and is just as if not more annoying than andrew. And i also dont really care who wins now. For some reason i got a feeling that mike perez is going to win it, idono why, just a feeling. So i guess ill root for him

I agree with pretty much everyone. Blake is definitely the worst of the bunch based on performance, likability, and demeanor.

Andrew, while I agree he's not that bad on the show, there must be something he does behind the scenes to make the other guys not like him. It could be that he's just good. I don't know.

Now that Vince is gone, I'm solidly behind the brothers. I think Tony is the best player out of all.

Blake either needs anger management counceling or a padded cell. His temper and actions are embarrassing. I'm stunned that Vincent is off the show. I thought that is had the most talent of any of them. I gotta tell ya that I still have to go with Andrew to be right there at the end but the brothers are solid picks.

Ok because it is clearly not an established phrase in golf. I googled simply "lip off my ball" and only came up with three results, all this thread!

The phrase as I've often heard it is "get your mouth off my ball." So I knew what he meant, but this was the first time I'd heard this variation.

sucks that vince went home... shoulda been blake the severe crybaby...

ps... i think when blake said 'get yer lip off my ball'... he was refering to erdman

How did Blake survive that? Now we have to listen to his profanity and crying for another episode...

I'm really sad to see Vincent go home. He's the only one on the show who I really liked and was rooting for.

Career Bests:

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

The thing that annoyed me the most is Gipper at the end saying they were out to get Andrew for taking out Vince, as if he had an option. They were incredibly clicky and immature.

meh, Andrew was directly behind Blake and speaking, I'm pretty sure he was talking to him.

I wanna see Blake break his putter from slamming it into the ground and then have to put with his driver.

I think that on this show the best golfers are already gone and it is just a bunch of pricks on there now spoiled rich kids.Boy I hope no one ever walks up behind Blake when he hits a bad shot which is ever shot just about,he will kill them with his club

I can't believe Erdman gets by again. I'm also pretty upset that Vince is gone. He seems like a real gentleman and plays the game it should be played. Next week Blake will go up against Kevin in the elimination and Kevin will shut him down and up. Andrew likes the cameras too much, but that's OK. He's still a pretty solid golfer. Tony and Gipper haven't made too many mistakes thus far. And also lets not forget about Mikey P.

I'm not sure which is less believable: Erdman getting by again, or the inability to hit a straight drive by the other competitors.

Blake is a tool who should never have survived last night's show. Andrew continues to be my favorite.

I agree 100%...Andrew seems to annoy some of the other players but Blake annoys me the most with his temper tantrums and drama queen act. Blake's attitude is terrible and his golf isn't much better.

In the next episode I hope Andrew continues to agitate Blake until he completely snaps.

as an episode or performance wise?

cause the "longer than your partner" challenge was a bleeping embarassment.

Maybe everyones just massively "off" at the same time, but these kids look pretty terrible over the last 2-3 episodes

I'm pulling for Andrew....I allways go for the underdog and I think he may be the best golfer there.

I actually have played a tournament round with Blake, on a few occasions. I've seen him get sorta kinda heated once, but that was more light frustration. To see what I'm seeing on BB is something different than the Blake I know.

As far as this week's show. Ultra shocked to see Vincent gone. I had him in the finals.

    • Yea, I think the first thing is to define block, variable, and random practice with regards to golf.  The easiest one might be in practicing distance control for putting. Block practice would be just hitting 50 putts from 5 feet, then 50 putts from 10 ft then 50 putts from 15 ft. While random practice would having a different distance putt for every putt.  In terms of learning a new motor pattern, like let's say you want to make sure the clubhead goes outside the hands in the backswing. I am not sure how to structure random practice. Maybe block practice is just making the same 100 movements over and over again. I don't get how a random practice is structured for something like learning a new motor pattern for the golf swing.  Like, if a NFL QB needs to work on their throw. They want to get the ball higher above the shoulder. How would random practice be structured? Would they just need someone there to say, yes or no for feedback? That way the QB can go through an assortment of passing drills and throws trying to get the wright throwing motion?  For me, how do you structure the feedback and be time effective. Let's say you want to work on the club path in the backswing. You go out to the course to get some random practice. Do you need to set up the camera at each spot, check after each shot to make it random?  I know that feedback is also a HUGE part of learning. I could say, I went to the golf course and worked on my swing. If I made 40 golf swings on the course, what if none of them were good reps because I couldn't get any feedback? What if I regressed?
    • I found it odd that both Drs. (Raymond Prior and Greg Rose) in their separate videos gave the same exact math problem (23 x 12), and both made the point of comparing block practice to solving the same exact math problem (23 x 12) over and over again. But I've made the point that when you are learning your multiplication tables… you do a bunch of similar multiplications over and over again. You do 7 x 8, then 9 x 4, then 3 x 5, then 2 x 6, and so on. So, I think when golf instructors talk about block practice, they're really not understanding what it actually is, and they're assuming that someone trying to kinda do the same thing is block practice, but when Dr. Raymond Prior said on my podcast that what I was describing was variable practice… then… well, that changes things. It changes the results of everything you've heard about how "block" practice is bad (or ineffective).
    • Day 121 12-11 Practice session this morning. Slowing the swing down. 3/4 swings, Getting to lead side better, trying to feel more in sync with swing. Hit foam balls. Good session overall.
