This situation is reeeheheheheeeally escalating. Who was the woman taken to the hospital? What happened to her? If Elin moved out, could it have been someone else?

This is getting weird. And if those pictures come out of an X-rated Tiger, I have a feeling we won't be seeing him anytime soon. Can you imagine what Tim Finchem must be thinking. The tour's biggest drawing card going down the toilet. But he might have a second career as the 'biggest' in the porn industry.

to use our own previous or current phase of having humped anything in sight to try to understand what tiger has been through is no way to understand him better. at least no one on this forum has volunteered the information that they have done so while being married. and even if they did--outside sex during marriage--i think the doers have enough of a sense of not revealing it here, fearful of being labelled a lowly human being. apparently, with the best help and advice money can buy, tiger does not know better.

i would have no problem if tiger fell deeply, genuinely in love with another woman while married. for that matter, i would have no problem if tiger has fallen in love with 18 women at the same time while married. i may not understand it, but oddly i would have respected his way of being and living.

unfortunately, i suspect he does not love them at all, including the one at home. i don't think he even loves himself. everything is a game to reach new heights and done with a very selfish purpose. everything and everyone else is but a stepping stone.

wishing him to have a better or the best season ever next year? god, that thought brings on nausea; should also make tiger himself puke. to use golf scores to settle life scores? i don't buy it, but with good marketing you'd never know because every second a new sucker is born.

I am not completely sold on the sex addict thing but certainly if you could get all the snatch you wanted just about any time you wanted I could see where it could get habit forming. Having a hot wife has nothing to do with it. Being sexy and good in bed and fulfilling fantasies and making the guy seem like a super stud blows away having a hot wife who does none of those things. Not saying Ellen wasn't an adequate lover which I wouldn't know but looking hot is not the deciding factor in the long run.

That being said, it would be a miracle for this marriage to survive at this point one would think. Tiger has created a large hill to have to climb. If it were me none of these sordid details would be part of the daily news. Poor girl has to endure a lot of embarassment.

I agree. That is how Earl raised him. He can only judge his worth through accomplishments and conquests. Everything is about putting another notch on his belt, whether it be golf, women or just about anything else.

I wonder when he will play golf again on the Tour.

My thoughts, too. It wouldn't surprise me, if that story resulted in a long break, if not retirement.

Compared to this, his knee injury was a nasty itch on the butt. I cannot remember or even imagine any brutal fall like this in the media. If you were a script author, you could not have written this story more drastic.

i wonder if Tiger has been hitting balls lately

I've wondered the same thing ... no sight of him outside his home since the accident though he probably has an indoor setup inside.

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
