Everything is coming together and feeling more natural, lots of room for improvement (shifting back with the driver, elbows separating, cupped left wrist at the top, etc). At the range, I've been focusing on feelings and positions but wanted to post a video of me just focusing on the target (as I do when I play 18 holes)

I've just gone through your thread. I remember seeing the first swing and thinking there is no way this guy is a 7 handicapper. After watching the last video, now I know why. Excellent progress uttexas! Congratulations.

Thanks. Those first headache inducing swings were a hybrid of my self taught compensations everywhere swing and an attempt at a centered pivot after reading the Golf Digest S&T; article a couple of times.

Keep your right knee flexed, hands straighter back, flatter shoulder turn, more x-factor, focus more on the target.... oh yeah and don't think about anything

Back, no:: Achilles, definitely--from trying to prolong my long jump and triple jump career as I grew from a skinny, fast 14yo into DE/TE body type at 19yo. will look at the TPI

Makes sense. Most people who've played sports have had injuries of some kind (myself included), and unfortunately they never really go away. Kudos for making it all work!!

Working on swinging within my left ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (achilles) ie not lifting left heel to compensate. Never hit the ball better.

Big, free hip turn while keeping front heel on ground. Feeling like I'm turning back even into the down swing. Squeezing trailing elbow forward and in at the transition.

My misses have been pull draws, so I started doing the mini tire drill (see video below). Instead of lugging a tire out to the range, I've been using an empty range basket. Result, more push, less pull. More forward shaft lean and flatter left wrist at impact. Plenty of room for improvement. Need to work on several other things also.
