it looks like canadian open conditions!

Seriously, yes if it free and i was down there already. I wouldn't drive or fly from NY to georgia to play on a (great!) course covered in snow.

Now if it was 20 but there was no snow, that would be a resounding yes!

No way. It's not worth the hastle of having your clubs and your bag soaking wet.

I'd definitely go walk the course and look around, but no way would I take my clubs and actually play.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

Yes sir! I would be there in about an hour and a half. (depending on traffic or course) and have colored balls in hand. Walking and putting may be a little tough but so what, I 'd be playin' Augusta National. I would have to get a T-shirt for that.

There have only been two days those pics would have been taken this year...2 weeks ago,

To answer the question....sure I'd give it a go but it's not really The National unless you can taste the greens....and the chicken sandwiches.

lol at this point I'd play on any course that looks like that... considering I'm right in the area of the northeast that got the huge blizzard and my home course is covered with 2 feet of snow.

Unknown model 3 & 5 Woods (next to get replaced)

At least the snow would slow up the putts. Come to think of it, ice on those greens would slow up the putts.

Not in the snow. Temperature probably at freezing, which means each time you hit down on an iron or a FW wood you shatter and kill the grass roots underneath.

I live in Canada and have played 16 rounds so far in January and Februrary, probably another 15 in November and December; how many you have in so far in New York this winter

To the question, I'd be out there for sure.

Uh, I'm playing my home course in those conditions daily. No brainer.

I'm going to need some hot cocoa though.

No.....

Agree completely. It isn't really golf under those conditions, and it certainly isn't Augusta National if you can't putt the greens.

If it was free, as in some strange winter test of snow golf, I'd be a trooper and do it

But, that isn't my idea of golf.....I'd want to play the course as it was intended.....also, the views make the experience priceless....

Besides, my putting is bad enough without 4 inches of snow....

I played Augusta the morning before those pictures were taken.

Yes I did.

Shot 6 over on the front nine (I just played the front).

Played the front nine again Sunday afternoon the day after with an orange ball, although most of the snow was gone. 6 over again.

Well actually I played the Augusta Golf Course. The muni.

Somehow I doubt it was quite the same...
