Not exactly surprising AK couldn't get it done. He's absolutely butchered the 'Bear Trap' each time he's played this course, so a run down the stretch from him was not likely. Glad Camillo won.

He seemed to be upbeat about his performance in an interview after the round. I'll take that as a good sign.

What is wrong with Dan Hicks and Jimmy Roberts these days? I thought Dan was a bit too obsessed with Tim Clark's "diminutive" stature at the President's Cup, but this weekend he wouldn't shut his piehole about Camilo beiing short and slight, yet also quite muscular. During the post round interview on Saturday, it sounded (to me) like with Hicks (or was it Roberts - I can't tell them apart) was trying to get Camilo to say something he didn't want to - repeatedly hammering on his lack of wins since 2008. I'm surprised Villegas didn't put one of his "muscular" arms through the guy's giant head.

Camilo was impressive. It is a tough course, but he made it look quiet easy. For now, I consider Camilo as one of the favorites to win the Maters. AK wasn't bad at all, 8 under par is a very good score for this course. AK will get better, he is 3 years younger than Camilo after all. Good to see Vijay is playing well again also.

Don't necessarily disagree regarding Camilo's chances at Augusta, but he was a bit yippy with the flatstick today. Not something you want to have happen Masters week on those greens. Then again, the greens at the Honda from what I heard and saw seemed to be very difficult to read and putt. Leave it to Johnny to emphasize the impact the grain had today.

Fun tournament to watch. I live in Palm Beach County and went to watch the finals today. 1st time going to a PGA tournament. I was hoping for AK to pull through but oh well, Camilo deserves it. Some impressive shots out there. Look forward to visiting more.

Nice rant, congratulations. I agree. Camilo is very athletic and looks like he does some partially aerobic upper body exercise rather than just maxing out with the weights to bulk up. I have no idea how he works out, just saying that he doesn't have the 'roided up body of some other sportsmen (mostly other sports of course).

Those commentators are idiots at times, you have to wonder why they keep harping like that. Makes them look rather foolish, which you wouldn't think would be something they would want. Who are they playing to anyway with this sort of thing - mostly the non-golfing public? Golfers know better than to give credence to stuff like that. I'll never forget the first time I saw Camilo close up, on the range at Torrey Pines 4 or 5 years ago now probably. I'd never seen the guy before and there he was looking very very cool (I was maybe 20 feet away - he was hitting from the N side). Very very impressive physique even then, high clubhead speed and hit the ball a loooong way. Later: corrected for spelling, it's "Camilo" not "Camillo".

Poor Nathan Green and his water shots, all three of them and he still has to chip. Yikes! In hindsight, if he takes a drop on the front side of the water, hits the green and two putts, he's in the top ten.

That low drive by Villegas on the back nine was pretty cool. I thought he hit it thin, but the replay showed not. I had the volume off, I wonder what Miller had to say.

Nothing worth listening to.

Whenever I watch golf now, I turn off the audio and listen to a podcast, sometimes this sites', sometimes others. Get 2 things done at once. My exceptions are for the majors.
