Fastest/Slowest players on PGA tour

Angel Cabrera without a doubt one of the fastest, he decides what he's gonna do, steps up and almost straight away the ball is in the air

Love watching Cabrera. I play much like him. The grass doesn't die under my feet. Hate watching Fruyk. His preshot putting ordeal is way to much to watch. They've finally quit showing it so much on TV.

I'm sure someone here can confirm this but in Anthony Kim's Playing Lessons with the Pros episode, he gives off the impression that he's a fast player.

Angel is insane if you go to a tourney that he's playing in watch him for a couple holes. It will amaze you how fast he goes and if he's waiting for someone as soon as their ball lands his in the air. All the slow players listed drive me nuts if I took that amount of time before I hit I would have way to many thoughts in my head.

Sergio's old re-gripping/re-setting routine made him soooo slow. I remember being at the 2002 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black and the fans would scream out how many regrips he was up to or just yell the old "hit the damn ball already!". Gotta love NY

The DVR is the best invention ever!

If it's a 3:00 start I set the DVR and start watching at 4:00...The 1 hour delay plus various stops for bathroom or beer runs gets me thru the entire round by fast forwarding over: Fruyk, Jim Nantz' sycophant interviews with the egocentric corporate dude, Sergio's hissy fits and 50 cialis commercials. On Sunday be sure to tape at least 1 hour extra in case it goes to sudden death.

Slow players can sometimes be really irritating, that's for sure.

I play quickly, so I tend to like guys who do the same. Plus, it makes watching golf on TV better as well.

Furyk is a big one. Hell, him and B. Watson about ran out of daylight last weekend. I think those two guys had more to do w/ that than anyone else.

I never noticed Stricker being slow, but I don't know for sure... he seemed kind of average. It's obvious with guys like Furyk and Holmes. What seems a bit unfair is that slow play/players affect fast players more than the other way around. I know... I know... they're professionals, they should be used to it, it's part of the mental game, blah, blah... It reminds me of driving (a car). For once, I would like to be the slow person in the left lane (or single lane) and creating a rolling road block. It must be nice to have nothing but an open road in front of you and not give a **** that you're an irritant to others. I'm pretty sure those are the same people that aren't paying attention to the light and the traffic in front of them in a turn lane, so when the light changes green, a big gap forms causing the light to change... but don't worry, they'll wake up and race through the yellow/red, leaving you there. Ha... rant over... sorry to derail the thread. :)

I heard on the golf broadcast today that someone clued in J.B. that taking so much time wasn't helping, rather, it was hurting, so he's allegedly playing faster this year. He's made the cut in all seven events he's entered, whereas his career cut average through 2009 was 60%.

Kevin Na = Slow.

I think the announcers mentioned it several times this weekend but I've definitely heard it before. Being deliberate is one thing, be he seems to go above and beyond that. I think I remember a situation a few years ago where he was stuck in the trees somewhere and took half the tournament to decide how to pitch out.

JB Holmes... behind a putt... I want to kick him AND light a fire under his behind. What's with the squatting every few feet until he gets TO his ball... then he'll drop back AGAIN at times and do it all over again.
