Perfectly stated.

The finals should be rather crushing.

I agree, there is no more heart, determination, or pure balls in any other postseason than NHL playoffs.

Also, the NHL has never had a 7 vs 8 in the conference finals up until this year.....That just shows how the heart and will of a team can propel them on to greatness. I mea Philly cut it about as close as you can get. They won a shoot out, the last game of the season, to barely make the playoffs.....now they are in contention to win Lord Stanley's Cup!!! The Holy Grail of Hockey!!!!

on that note, Go Chicago lol

I don't think either of them or great, but I have more gripes with the regular season. Way too long, Basketball shouldn't be played in june.

Might I add there should be no baseball in November and college football should end on Jan 1?

On the topic at hand, normally I'd say basketball but this postseason has been very boring and overshadowed by the Lebronathon.

I should say NHL too because of the Bruins and Flyers series. Flyers has been a major surprise this playoffs, unless the Orlando Magic will pull a Flyers-like comeback against the celtics, NHL is way much better.

I say the NBA (though I love what my Flyers are doing).

I just checked the TV ratings for the NHL and NBA playoffs and it looks like the NBA by a mile.

The best post season hands down is the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and it's not even close. The NBA playoffs are much better than the NHL playoffs. The NHL is still playing? Who knew? Anyone that doesn't think the NBA is good basketball 1) hasn't watched the last couple of years and 2) doesn't know basketball.

I got to give it to the NBA this year. Lakers/Celtics is about the best matchup you can have.

NHL post season is way more intense than NBA. I don't ever hear anything on the NBA. But that could also be because Pittsburgh doesn't have a team.

i can't stand hockey, then again i can't stand pro basketball either. but i don't like hockey more than i don't like nba basketball. so i'll go with NBA. out of all american sports, baseball is definitely the most compelling. however, it is a fact that soccer is the greatest sport on earth, and the champion's league finals really have no legitimate rival.

I think I've solved the NBA's problems. Fire all NBA refs, then take all of the refs for women's college basketball. Seriously, then do a much better job.

Then fine though the roof for flopping. I hate flopping. In basketball and in soccer. There is no flopping in football or hockey, and they are much more physical. How about 20K a flop? Sounds good to me. When did everyone lose all of their pride and dignity? I don't really know, but probably the first time they got a favorable call due to flopping.

Next more replay. Replay replay replay. Get the call right. I might be a Celtics fan, but no way Ray Allen's shot hit the rim to beat the shot clock in game 5. (That goes for MLB too. I'm talking to you Bud Selig. Easy fix. Make umpire crews 5 men, and put one of them in the booth with a T.V. A close play at first, he makes the call in 2 seconds. All Joe West or Jeffery Mayer situations averted.)

I can't agree more with everything you said. Baseball really needs to get with the program and put an umpire in a booth with a few TVs. And I just never got into the whole NBA thing. I feel like as soon as a team goes on defense, they stop trying as hard. Thats why I stick to the NCAA. They go hard no matter which side of the court they are on. Go Pitt

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
