What are the grips everyone use and do you like them? I'm looking for grips and need some opinions.

Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound for me.

why is this under INstructions and PLaying tips? so many of these threads already in Equipment section.

but my vote goes for NDMC's as well.

i think its kind of weird that you dont see too many tour players with the NDMC grips. Only person I really see use them is Phil Mickelson.

what you talkin about? Sergio used to use them extensively, Rory Mcilroy on all his clubs, lots and lots of pro's use the NDMC's. I'd say the list goes as far as one of the most common grips these days alongside tour velvets. Of course not nearly as common but I see them everywhere now.

I LOVE golf pride. Every time I've tried something else, I end up ripping them off within a week. Probably my personal preference :)

why do so many people put exclamation marks in the titles?

And I have golf pride tour velvet grips on my cobra irons and driver . Corded grips on my long irons and woods.

why do so many people put exclamation marks in the titles?

!!! there is a reason behind !!!

I prefer the basic GP Tour Velvet or Lamkin Crossline. I have never really cared for the 'premium' grips. I have tried a few on clubs, just didn't like them. The cost may have something to do with it too though. I like to change grips every year and $3-4 a grip is more managable than $7-8.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Lamkin Crosslines.

When I got my clubs most had the GP Tour Velvets, but the Crosslines are a bit better for the humidity/sweaty hands combination.

    • I have had the flu recently which gave me plenty of time to pore over Joseph Mayo’s instagram. I have hit a ton of shots each day on carpet and a little started how easy this shot is to make. Key thought for me is bring the club “no closer to the earth.” That really resonated with me. If I really steepen the attack angle I can hit my 58* lob wedge barely an inch or two off the ground and a repeatable distance. I don’t recommend this but tried it to what the end ranges are for angle of descent. I actually think a 62*-64* wedge might be even better for this shot.
