I have been a subscriber to Golf Digest for sometime and was thinking about changing and picking a different mag to subscribe to ... I know I could get more than one, but honestly I barely have time to read one these days.
So, Golf, G.D., others ... what rag do you like best?

I get golf digest if I see it in the shops.
I don't like the magazine's that much any more, they give a lot of "quick fixes" that make your swing worse in the long run. I'm trying to undo a flip I ingrained because of golf digest.....

Golf Digest and Golf Magazine are the cream of the crop in my opinion......good mixture of instruction (albeit not all great, or even good, stuff) and player profile and courses/travel type stuff

Golf World is the National Enquirer of the golf world.

I have never been too much into the Golf Tips.....but I think it is good if all you are looking for is instructions stuff (again, not all great, or even good though)

Never seen Golf News....will have to take a look

Golf Digest, without a doubt. I don't pay a lot of attention to the "swing fix" articles; I read it more for equipment reviews and interviews. I just finished reading the Hank Haney interview in the August issue and found it very enlightening. I've read Golf a few times and I like it's equipment articles but overall I like Golf Digest a lot better. Best of all, it's free because 3 Balls Golf gave me a subscription just for buying a driver from them.

I used to subscribe to Golf Digest, but dropped it every couple of years. Seems like the articles start to repeat themselves. And then GD had the May obsolete list spread, suggesting we dump all our golf clubs more than two years old - credibility, anyone? I still buy the Hot List issue in January, because I track equipment changes as a hobby. But that's about it.

Took Golf Magazine for about a year, but got tired of it too.

I watch the golf industry as a whole, and I find the greenskeeping magazines very interesting.

I only read Golf Digest. Mostly for the equipment reviews and the articles about the players.

I may look at others from time to time, but I do know for sure I will never buy another issue of Golf Tips. The last issue I bought had 2 articles that contradicted each other in the worst way. One article talked about how its best to use a neutral grip because it is more natural and is easier to manipulate the club. About 10 pages later, there was an article that talked about using a stronger grip to play a draw and a weaker grip to play a fade. Not only was it contradicting, the second article was just plain wrong. It never mentioned the swing path or face angle at impact.... just change your grip to suit the shot. UGH!!

I like Golf Illustrated and Golf Week ; both have a lot less advertising & are skinnier on equipment reviews which I don't need until I want to buy something. But I'm not religious about any of them.

I rarely read any of them anymore - with the this site and other blogs like Wei, Shackelford and Twitter, that's enough for me. I'll occasionally read Golfweek on the web. The established publications seem a little stiff and stilted now.

I got a few free months of Golf Digest with my golf-related purchase on Amazon, and apparently just got sent an EFX holographic tech wristband as a gift, as it came directly from GD but I never paid for anything... That's going right on eBay, as there's some schlup who would buy it. I don't believe in them.

I get Golf Magazine, Golf Digest & PGA Partners along with several business and turf magazines. I've always like Golf Magazine. It's the one I've subscribed to continuously for longest period of time. Some of the turf and course management mags are pretty cool too.
