DO NOT MESS WITH JIM GRAY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnbK3wc9vps

I hate the guy. His interviews are always awkward and stupid. Vijay Singhs interview at the AT&T; was a classic awkward one

He began to question DJ and his caddy about the penalty during the round.  Had he waited until after they were done, it probably wouldn't have been as big a deal.  A reporter walking up to a player and his caddy during a round and asking about the penalty they took is tantamount to a shoving a mic in someone's face during a perp walk, there's absolutlely no place for it in a professional tournament.

I wish Pete Rose would have laid a beatdown on him for the stunt he pulled in '99.  Gray is someone who needs to be put in his place in the worst way.

OK, agreed. That's a total dick move.

Ironically, the Gray interview with Rose, and Pete's professionalism during it, probably had a more positive influence on Rose's image than Gray was intending.

If the story about Gray sticking his hand in Pavin's wifes face is true I would have smacked him around then but if I was DJ's caddie he would have been eating that mic real quick. The guy is terrible him and Mike Lupica should get their own show on versus at midnight so no one would have to suffer through it.

Is this the same caddie who let Dustin hit out of a bunker on the 72nd hole of the PGA Championship? Same guy that abandoned Dustin in the same situation?

The caddie needs to grow a pair.

Good defense is a good offense. Seems that is what is going on here. Deflect anger to a third party, right out of the I farked up play book.

    • With the hot weather……I’ll take a Gatorade please.
    • 60 minutes on the local school playing fields, trying to discover my former grip,I found it and used a lob wedge with which I was able to group 3 balls pretty near together, very happy to have found my old grip and its give me a lot more confidence so I can go have a round of golf with my brother and his step sons,I have not stepped on a course for 20 years, still I can hit my old yardages and that's great as I'm now 62...everybody have a great day
    • I have this issue as well. I play in a bi-weekly league and I generally work on my drills and feels as I'm playing in the league...lol. But to be honest, they really do not affect me in a bad way too much. If anything, my irons are actually more crisp.  The issue comes in when I transition to the woods....so I try to find a happy medium there for the time being. But as far as bad shots go, they are no worse than they were before worrying about drills and what not.  Just speaking for my experience, obviously.
    • Another good episode. I below its a skill to be able to find a functional swing between where you were and where you want to be. I am guilty of trying to do too much on the course instead of just playing.  The goal is to play golf better. Not turn a round of golf into a practice session.
    • SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!! Just in time for this golf outing.
