... at the time.
I'm watching Unwrapped on the Food Network, and they did a segment on a woman whose bright idea was edible art supplies. She got the idea because her (obviously not very bright) son would always eat the paste. So, she decided to make pastes and paints edible.
She thinks it's a great idea.
I don't.
In the real world, paint isn't edible. Neither is glue.
What happens when these kids finds a can of paint or a bottle of Elmer's glue and decides to make a snack of it?
Kids need to learn that there are things that you can put in your mouth ... and things you can't.

What things do you see that make you scratch your head?

i love watching food network and shows about food. chopped is awesome! and man v food on the travel channel is very entertaining although i think what he does is ridiculously unhealthy. i scratch my head whenever i see him put away 6+ pounds of food because I want to know how he feels the next day. I wonder if he just goes on a water diet the day before these things.

Chopped should be called, "America's biggest ego." Seriously, those guys are just full of themselves. But yeah, it's on my TiVo. Dinner: Impossible is my favorite food show, along with the Iron Chef shows. Hell's kitchen is fun too.

He looks a lot chubbier now than when the show started.

Bourdain and Zimmern are fun to watch. Zimmern just because hes like a walking bowling-ball in a half hour long train wreck.

I don't. I find it frustrating that these teams come all this way to do a BBQ competition and can be disqualified because they don't make good coleslaw or have never cooked rattlesnake. It's just another gimmicky food competition show. I'd rather it be about actual food prep and cooking so I can learn something. If I want to see a "gourmet" meal made using a blow torch, unripened fruit, and ramen noodles I'll watch Chopped or Top Chef. I just find that crap frustrating. But I guess it makes for "better TV".

yea. he just looks puffy. I mean, those little dinners he has on those shows probably clock in pretty high with the caloric intake and sodium.. id say some of those missions he goes on are 8,000+ mg of sodium and 10,000+ calories. not to mention the fat and saturated fat. cant be good.

There's a show in Canada call The Junk Guys or The Junk Brothers, or Two and a Half Pieces of Junk - whatever, you get the idea.

It has to be staged because nobody's killed them yet. These two Ftards sneak around picking up things people leave out for the junk collector. They convert this junk into another freshly painted piece of junk by bolting other junk to it. I'm not exaggerating. They took one person's bicycle, turned it into some kind of bird feeder or something, then hoisted it up into the tree in her front yard. This show serves no meaningful purpose other than to annoy people and sell tools to unsuspecting wannabe dogooders who think they may save the planet by "revocering" lost treasures.

Regarding cooking shows, I miss Giardia (or whatever her name is) - that hot Italian lady with the giant . . . head. She made some kind of desert once that almost made her vomit and then she had to taste it again just to be sure. It was hilarious when she tried to cover it up - like her eww face was actually her "that's so awesome" face.

I watch and laugh when the women's shakeweight comes on. When the men's commercial comes on I change the channel.

    • No…? When we edit the title of topics, a little note appears.
    • Rush or delay your own pace and you are probably going to suffer in the long run. PGA pro are well oiled machines that work on an specific pace, it's not surprise that if you move them out of their normal routine things are going to go sideways. I normally don't rush shots, but I sometimes delay the trigger if I'm not feeling it. The result is a lack of athleticism, I kind of get a little stiff and I could loose some yards and accuracy.
    • It seems like the title to this thread may have been edited. Super hilarious BTW.
    • Argentina: I read about the 3 or 4 clubs challenge in several countries. Here in Argentina, once a year, on several clubs, "Torneo de Brujas" (The witches tournament) is played. It consist on the same concept, only 4 clubs are allowed but the difference is that only woman can play it. What amaze me is that the winning scores are almost the same as if they were playing with all 14 clubs. Seems like sorcery to me..
