Its finally cold enough here that I am going to have to put the collared short sleave T shirts and shorts away for the fall/winter. What do you guys wear to play during the colder months?

Slacks for pants.

On top, I usually wear a Underarmour ColdGear Compression shirt that helps repel sweat and keep you nice and cozy. Polo shirt on top of that. Otherwise, I have a few half zipup dri-fit shirts that go over my polo.
If its raining or windy, I have a Nike Stormfit half zip jacket thats very nice.

I usually wear a pair of kakis or golf pants and layers on top. I have the Footjoy compression long sleeve, with a pull over and my rain shirt if need be. Keeps me warm and I have enough mobility in it to play.

I either wear a pair of khakis or my wind/rain pants.... with compression/thermal pants underneath if its cold enough.

Up top I have a few assorted wind/rain jackets that I almost always wear. Some with removable sleeves. Sometimes a compression/thermal shirt underneath is all I need. I can't stand to feel constricted.

I also have a headband sort of thing that I wear over my had to cover my ears if its really cold.

Khakis on the bottom with long socks or even multiple socks. On top I try to stay away from polyester. I find that products like UA Cold Gear are no warmer than comparable cotton long sleeve shirts, but the Cold Gear is so thick it restricts movement. Then I wear a polo shirt and a v-neck sweater over that. If it's so cold that I need to wear more, I generally just throw style out the window and put on a hoodie sweatshirt. On my head I wear a Mizuno knit hat.

Rain pants. Under Armor, a polo, a mix between a fleece jacket and a rain jacket on the top. That's usually enough for a temperature of 7-8 celcius or more.

rain pants! forgot about those. i usually have them even if its not raining because its comfy and beats the hell out of having wet pants and socks due to morning dew or general wetness at the end of the round.

I played D1 college golf in Massachusetts in late October and early April, so I have teed it up in just about everything.

Under armour + polo + sweater/light jacket is usually good enough for anything between 40-50 deg F. The key with the sweater/jacket is that it should be light enough and the right fit so that you can swing freely. Also, you can always lose the sweater/jacket if it warms up.

I also go with hand warmers in the pockets, a winter hat, and long socks.

Shorts, usually some cargo variety, a stanfield waffle underneath a golf shirt.

Never really gets that cold on days that are actually 'golfable.'

We got good & sunburned on boxing day a couple of years ago.

Same shorts and shirts that I wear in the summer. On the real cold days I will wear a long sleeved t-shirt under my polo and a windbreaker for the first few holes.

ummm....thats called a TOUQUE......silly american.. ;)

for me - if its super chilly (like 2-10 degress celcius) long sleeve UA, dri-fit polo rain jacket w/out the sleeves, Nike Dri Fit pants will toss on the rain pants if the wind is up the courses here r playing so tough right now tho leaves everywhere, and greens r so firm - they havent watered in 2 weeks easily playing a club short and running it up.......even w the LW

    • Day 121: did a bit of mirror work with my driver. Working on shortening the backswing.
    • Day 305 - Grip and backswing work. Full swings were bothering the hip a bit.
    • Day 56 - 2024-11-15 Light day. Lots of catch-up work. Checked the grip to make sure I wasn't compensating there, and did a little backswing work.
    • Day 197 (15 Nov 24) - Played in the Friday men’s group outing - blustery conditions in play (wind gusting 10-20; spotty pop up misting rain; temps in the mid 50’s), so it was a good day to work on course management.  Solid round of 83 (41/42) - 7 GIR, total 32 putts - included 10 pars (3 being up and downs), a dbl and triple bogie.
    • Have been on a mid to low 80’s roll of late - today was no different with an 83 (41 front / 42 back).   Played in the Friday men’s group outing - blustery conditions in play (wind gusting 10-20; spotty pop up misting rain; temps in the mid 50’s), so it was a good day to work on course management, delivering 7 GIR, total 32 putts - included 10 pars (3 being up and downs), a dbl and triple bogie.  Local course starting to get that winter feel - wet areas wetter, thin grass thinner, greens  trickier.
