I read the book this winter, and I'm trying to transition to this swing method. So far I've just haven't gottent the muscle memory down quite right. The more tips I get the better. Thanks for posting the link.

Great article... Anybody interested in this though really needs to check out the book... there is a lot of great info in there.

Also, don't forget the Golf Evolution videos.

Keep working at it and you'll get it... the best thing you can do (if you're not already) is to video your swing.  Remember, feel isn't real and being able to see what you are doing will let you see if you are making the proper moves.

Just bookmarked it.
It’s interesting to see some of the negative comments from readers at the end of the article. One of the cool things about golf is the trial and error to find the swing methodology and equipment that suits YOURSELF.

Thanks for sharing this. I know mvmac also did here but it's nice to see it all in one article rather than paged.

Is this even allowed - posting an entire article from a magazine? I thought there'd be copyright issues. I guess nobody over at Golf Tips reads TST so, whatever.

Is that the current issue?  I may have to run out and get a physical copy to take with me to the range (even though I have a copy of their book).  Just on Saturday I got to the point where I feel I have the basic form down.

Good article... I think it's a much better one than the article that Golf Digest did on S&T.;

No, it's not allowed. Please don't scan entire articles. Snippets are fine if you have commentary on them, but even then if the article is available at a URL, link to it and post a snippet.

I think ( and don't quote me on it ) that S&T; uses mid muscles more than the lower muscles. So I guess it depends

I have Sciatica so anything NOT involving my lower muscles helps me

Erik will know though

In a word, no.

There's evidence it may be better for your back than "regular" swings. Bearing in mind that any physical activity as rigorous as golf (on your back) is not 100% healthy, that is.

    • Yea, it is a cult following. Especially with the YouTube golf personalities using them. They did great marketing in a space that not many other golf clubs are getting into yet. Especially for putters.  I tried them out at Golf Galaxy before; I can't stand them look of them.
    • Hit the driving range on lunch today. The LAB Putter Cult was going on and on at nauseum about that putt. They are 100% sure that the LAB putter is the reason he won the US Open. "When are you getting your LAB putter?" 😒 "JJ Spaun was unheard of before he got the LAB putter."  "The LAB putter is the reason JJ Spaun won the US Open." "Just watch, by the end of the year every PGA Tour pro will have a LAB putter."  etc... etc... etc...  I haven't seen this type of unconditional devotion to a club that will clearly change your game and save you strokes since the original "Hammer" ... POW! ... BOOM! ... WHAM! ....
