I'm sorry but how can a professional golfer not take the trouble to know his tee time the next day?  I don't care who else shares the responsibility - very strange.

is it me or...does the northern trust seem flat and unappealing this year? i find myself trying not to fall asleep watching it. yes i'm excited for freddie but it honestly seems like EVERYONE is sucking, even the leaders are having holes where they're bouncin off those gum trees or we're hearing from the announcers about the damn grass...i love golf but this tournament is leaving me begging for more. even the weather doesn't want this tournament to be on.

I tend to agree.  This tournament isn't doing much for me.  Also, I always hear so many great things about Riviera but the course never impresses me.  Granted I'm basing my opinion from what I see on TV.

I think it's CBS. They have such a hard on for The Masters that all their other coverage is blech. Too much Faldo and pretty much any dosage of McCord and Ian Baker Finch is too much.

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

good thing McCord can't call the Masters...He's a joke

Riviera is awesome, one of the tougher courses on the tour...makes for somewhat boring golf.  Been there, it's great.

I think it's more interesting when there are difficult greens which require some creativity and delicate shotmaking.  The long bombers are not at an advantage this week. And it's certainly an interesting leader board with Couples, Baddeley, Singh in the mix.

I think Ian Baker Finch is a better golfer than announcer

Who do you think will win today Aaron, Freddy or someone else?

Conditions are forecast to be a little breezy, so par will be a good score.  Don't see anyone who will go really low, so that pretty much means that someone in the last two groups will win.  As much as I would like to see Couples win, I don't know whether his putting stroke will hold up.  Same for Singh and Senden.  For those reasons, I think it will be between Baddeley, Na and Moore. Who is the best putter?  Probably Baddeley.

But I could be wrong.

Aarons putting has dropped from 2nd last year to 98th this year. He better have the best putting day of his life if he wants to win.

I'd love to see Couples win this one.

Way too early in the year for stats to matter much.

Feherty & Co on Baddeley's pitch shot: "No, he hit the ground first", "There is a distinct chump before you hear him hit the ball".

Well gee...I don't know, perhaps that's what he was going for?

Nope. He's not. :-) Maybe Mike Weir will win next week. :-)

His current move is somewhere between a one-plane swing and whatever he was doing last year (which was really, really two-plane).
