I agree that this interview is the best yet from Sean.

I agree, seems Foley and Tigers past swing coaches can all agree that Tiger is not much on chatting during practice sessions.

About Tiger not saying much during practice.

I would hang out at a Haney facility during many of his Tiger years and hear things from instructors who talked with Hank. Apparently, when their relationship began, Tiger was a golf junkie. He'd drop in on golf boards, watch TGC, and phone Hank in the middle of the night, saying "Can you believe what these guys are saying?"

I can only assume that interest waned later....

From what I heard, I concluded that Tiger is slow to buy into anyone's method or instruction. Like any professional (or any one of us), he must own it (analyze it, try it, think more, and understand the why) before he buys into it. IOW, he is not automatically open to changing everything - which makes sense. I think change comes slowly to Tiger because he wants it that way. That is the way he accepts something new. It is a process for him.

So he experiments and finds what he thinks fits him without much talk, Then you've got Sean with the video as a coach/consultant.

That interview was. . . interesting. I like his thoughts on golf.

I have no more interest on Sean's thoughts on life and music than I do about Butch or Hank's on sandwiches and pants.

I agree. Much like my interest in Tiger - I only care what he does on the course.

I like sandwiches. I wear pants. Target demographic, me.

Still think Foley flaps it a lot to say relatively little. And for a guy who talks all the time about how he's consciously let go of his negative energy, he's one prickly little prick.

PS: Haney on Twitter today. Guess he agrees with me. Not that I agree with him.
