I'd wager against that.

If I was a betting man, I'd bet large sums of money that there is no one on here that fits that description.

My point was/is not that I do or can, but that's what I'm trying to do....

If you've got a wedge in your hand, or any scoring club, and you're not trying to hit it to a specific spot...you've got problems. To me, I'm trying to hit every wedge close unless it's a ridiculous pin. Am I always successful? Clearly not. I also didn't boast that I hit it in there 9 out of 10 times or whatever...the whole premise of the thread was about 'going at' pins.

I go for pins only when everything adds up.  I would have to have a great lie one that I know I can put a good swing on it.  I club that I feel comfortable with that day whether its a 5 iron of wedge.  I don't worry too much about trouble around the green unless there is water or OB.  I'm confident in my short game that I can get up and down to save par.  IMO I'm not playing for thousands of dollars so I have fun shooting for hole outs if the circumstances permit.  Its not the end of you if you go for a pin and screw it up.  I probably go for 7-10 pins in a round.

Point taken and, again, I wasn't trying to call you on anything. Your wording just got me thinking about my own definitions of a good outcome and I found the tour stats somewhat relevant to that and the original premise of the thread. Peace and yoghurt. Stretch.
