Short chips and pitches only.

I've tried standing closer, ball back in stance and a few other tricks, but this flaw always

seems to creep back into my short game.

Anyone have a cure?

Maybe it helps if you address the ball towards the toe more, so forcing yourself to reach for the ball just a bit more ....

Make sure to turn through the shot with your body and visualize a spot after the ball as your swing bottom. I prefer "Hinge and Hold".

Thanks, I'll give it  try.

I have the Mickleson DVD, but we moved in January and I haven't been able to locate which box it's in.

I toe the ball on chips where I don't have a fluid follow through. I find myself slowing the club down into contact which is bad and then not following through,

Dont know if this aplies to you but thought id mention it.

Since this thread has been bumped, I'll add some thoughts for readers.
I see this happen on occasions when the ball is sitting down and a player attempts to play it.
They will often get handsy and flip the lower hand.
Opening the club face can lead to hitting the toe also when they lower hand is too aggressive, IMO.

Other thoughts, a player stabs at the ball in a quick motion with no arc in the club path.
Basically a straight decent towards the ball when attempting on an uphill lie.

Lack of rotation and or not turning through the shot can lead to toe shots.
Using arms only to decent the club into the shot.

All or any of these conditions can occur with various lies or turf length.

Great video, and has helped my game. His chipping lesson start at about the 34:30 point, and it is fantastic:
