I have a Ping Craz-e but, I currently use a 8 year old Perfield Tour Gold-colour Mallet putter that my father gave to me when i was 16 and playing junior competitions.

Its is heel shafted and is really soft and really heavy. I just love the way it comes off the milled face.

VIP Ironmasters #525 of 2000

the putter in my picture. I have had it for a few years and will never change. Small putters are the only way to go. You can get such a better feel for putting with them.

Why does lost ball talk in third person? Troy thinks thats stupid.

Lost Ball appreciates the input and will take that into consideration in the future

I have used different brands, Carbite, Never Compromise, etc. But I always go with a center shafted blade, they seem to work best for me. I am currently using a Taylormade which a like a lot.

I have 2.

First is the Titleist Laguna (original) NewPort 34". Need to get it refinished. Great putter but kinda light when putting on slower greens.

Second is the Never Compromise Voodoo Daddy 34" Mallet. Much easier to "feel" the club head swing and easy to line up.

35" Cameron Newport 2.5. The blade style seems to heep me very focused on the correct path and face position at impact, and I really like the GSS insert. Unfortunately, the 2008 Cameron line has abandoned both the GSS and the 2.5...

I use an Odyssey White Hot #9 model and really love how it sets up. At times it feels a bit soft however. Does anyone have experience with a Slighter putter? I was quoted around $350 to have one custom made, but I'm nervous about paying that much for something I've never used. The Slighter Redmond model looks awesome.

A very old Bullseye my father gave me as a gift about 25 years ago. I have tried several other putters over the years but it always finds it's way back into my bag. Recently re-gripped it again and had a 28 putt round.. I tried out an Odyssey Black i #9 last week and it may be my next attempt to retire it. I think my brother wants me to buy it knowing I will go back to the Bullseye and give it to him.

I like the Odyssey putters because of the very soft insert, however the distance control lacks somewhat. I have the Odyssey Marxman Blade with the 34" shaft and the long top line. The great thing about this line is that from 10' and in it is an automatic sink. I've made many one putt par saves with this putter

I bought a Heavy Putter (B3-M) off Ebay early last year and never really looked back. I have a Cameron Studio, a few Ping blades and a Odyssey 2-Ball, but I always had problems controlling them. The Heavy Putter slows everything down for me. I don't get all herky-jerky.

I have a Ping Doc 15. Most people hate the look, or at least question the look, but this putter is incredible. Good feel, easy alignment....and always easy to find in the bag....LOL

Prior to this I was using a Ping Craz-E and had excellent results with it, too.

My gamer right now is a Callaway s2h2 blade putter that my dad gave me about 12+ yrs ago. However, someone I used to work with had a cheap AMF (yes, the bowling people) mallet putter with some type of synthetic insert in the face and I was able to get great control with it. I also think the heavier head helped stabalize my putting stroke so I bought one of fleabay for like $7, lol. Figured it's worth a shot and if I like it, I'll buy a quality putter later down the road.

    • Day 118 - Spent some time working on the full swing. Need to film some swings for Evolvr tomorrow.
    • playing with cleveland hybrid irons have friends that use hybrids anyone using hybrid irons or hybrids would appreciate fwwdback
    • I dont know if I really have a favorite, but there are two that have stuck in my mind for a very long time. #15 at Erie Golf course during the Finals of the EDGA Matchplay. Was up early and then lost a few holes in row so the match was close again. My opponent had a short putt for birdie. I hit past hole high, but 35 feet right. I drained the putt and looked over at my opponent who was in disbelief.   #8 at Whispering Woods during another year of the EDGA Matchplay. Was playing a very cocky opponent who made sure to mention on the first tee how many times he won the club championship at this course. I hammered this 30 footer that clanked off of the pin and dropped. My opponent was disgusted and that made me weirdly happy. I went on to win 5&3 or something like that, so that entire day has stayed in my memory.
    • Day 20: Did 30 minutes after getting home from work, before kid's baseball practice. This session was piecing out the new hip move in transition, doing 2-3 rehearsals from the top, and then hitting a ball from between P5/P6. Did another 45 minutes after baseball practice and dinner. Did 30 more minutes of what I did earlier, and then about 15 minutes of full swings trying to incorporate athletically.
    • Day 296: did a stack session.
