If you do decide to go out, let me know. I'd like to try that course out. It is about 1 1/2 hour drive though so I'd need a decent lead time if possible.

Will do.

I'm going to head out now. It looks like a break in the weather is showing for a good stretch. I'll probably be teeing off in about 30-40 minutes.

Well, no way I could make it there in time for that so have a good round. I'll have to try another time.

Probably for the best, with the wind as strong as it is I can't imagine the day would have went very well for me. I really wanted to golf but playing in 20 mph winds is probably not the best of conditions for someone like me to play in.

It's so freaking windy out there, I really wanted to golf today too. I don't know how people can play in high winds, it's tough enough for me to know where my shots are going without wind gusts up to 30 mph.

First, determine where the wind is coming from. Look at the clouds and look at the top of the trees. Look up the direction before the round and remember which way it is moving.

Second, realize that bad ball strikes get hurt more by the wind than good ones. If your swing path is more neutral and you hit a slight fade or draw the wind will not push it as much as it would someone who curves the ball a lot.

Third, play in windy conditions to get use to windy conditions. A lot of cases it just takes getting use to and figuring out how much more to club up or club down.

Third is most important. It just takes getting use to.

To me, this is the most important thing, knowing that my ball striking isn't nearly good enough to be able to handle windy conditions.

Slightly better here, 2 days of good weather. Thankfully one of them is league night. However, I need a lot of practice so it's not nearly enough good weather.

Yep. Daughter's Grad party is Saturday. Over 100 people coming. This should be fun. Might need to have a garage party.

The greens are awful. Rock hard and half dead.

If so, it will be a last minute call and early in the morning.

It had been a few weeks since the last time I was out there. I guess I noticed some odd yellow spots on them. Usually they aren't that bad. I'm guessing something got to em.

Ended up playing Hawk on Sunday and shot a 91, which is pretty good for me.

Sounds like the morning is the best bet for Saturday. Anybody up?

Isn't it high chance of rain all weekend? When I was looking it was like 60% Saturday and Sunday.
