Tell us about this redistribution thing ...

Not my words. Obama's. Have you not even listened to him, or do you just spend all your time looking for things to criticize about Romney? With no record to celebrate, I understand though. (wishful thinking) [/quote] Really? :-\ News flash...... There is a two term limit to the Presidency.

Oh, I know what he means...

But people like you, who blare out words and abuse their meaning, are a big part of our problem, because you have no idea what Obama means, and instead of attempting to understand, you demonize ... or worse, you know what he means and still demonize.

If you can't answer the question, just say so.

We know you're a fraud. You have nothing ... no facts... nothing.

And we laugh.

Enough with the political games, let's play some golf!

What facts? Your guy says that he wants to redistribute the wealth. I credit him with meaning what he says. Certainly someone of your alleged education can understand something as simple as that.

The thread should not read "Does Obama play to much golf". It should read how many 100,000 of thousands tax dollars is spent in security and public inconvenience to play a round of golf?

How come there isn't a budget reduction in Presidential "Perks" instead of reductions in medical and poverty aid.

Every president has their outlets and exercise, deservedly so. Obama golfs occasionally, Bush Jr mountain biked every morning, Clinton had sex with interns, Daddy bush jogged, etc. Don't see how security costs would change regardless of what they do, they're on Salary anyway...

True and Bush Jr. was the biggest offender of these "Perks", Well except for Clinton closing down LAX for two hours for a unscheduled haircut/BJ.

However, we are in a severe depression with his Bold statement......  President Obama: "Let's Put this Country Back to Work" .....while I shoot a round of golf.

Leaders of men, lead by example... not words. BTW, They get a very low Salary cosidering their position, but they make their BIG money on the side from Special Interest Groups.

So the President should lock himself in the WH and never leave to cut this miniscule part of the budget? It's this kind of petty thinking that has our country in gridlock. Seriously? How about all the security that Bush received for the months he spent on his Texas ranch or Reagan while he chopped down bushes on his ranch in CA? C'mon, if this is best you can do, give it a rest.

It's not just the golf, it's entertaining every sports champion teams, it's M. Obama and kids @ Olympics for 3 weeks, that doesn't count as vacation, they have been on vacation for 4 years, oh I mean business. Our nation is making cut backs, so should the government. Actually go ahead and let him play golf, I't will save USA money and it apparently doesn't have any effect on JOB CREATION.

Obama's India trip $200 million a day!

Michelle Obama's Trips Cost Taxpayers $1 Million

For the record, I feel Mitt is scary to me and as they say "better to live with the devil you know, than the devil you don't know"

FYI. If you pay taxes that is re-distribution. Things like the Earned Income Tax Credit (started by Reagan) is re-distribution. Re-distribution is a catchword used in a negative context by the right wing, but government use of tax money is re-distribution. Get over it.

Okay, now we're arguing about "redistribution" and "socialism"?

Do you have insurance?  Guess what, it's a socialist scheme.

You get a large group of people who pay money on a monthly basis with the knowledge that if one of them gets sick, they can dip into that pool of money to pay their bill.

It's also redistribution...those who don't get sick end up paying for those who do.

But I don't hear you whining about insurance.

If I choose to buy insurance it's a voluntary choice. Well, it used to be, before Obamacare...... Now it's become redistributionist and yes, even socialist in it's application. If you haven't heard any "whining" about it, you really haven't been paying attention!

I was injured and disabled a few years back, yes I am whining about insurance once I see the lack of support on this level. I hope you never have a fall like I experienced for you and your family.

I don't like either candidate, I'm in California my vote don't count, Democrats win hands down every year. I just can't support a candidate that makes 20 mil. dollars and pays 15% taxes to my previous 30% plus.

It's a matter of what station you watch, Fox made a big deal about it. I honestly can't say if the journalism is true or not, I can say when confronted they took the 5th on the amount spent.

Also, there's no need for name calling.

but government use of tax money is re-distribution. Get over it.

When government collects taxes and uses the revenue to fund items that are in the common interest, such as a standing military, or to provide an interstate highway system for the benefit of all, that's not "redistribution. When that same government takes money from a group of more affluent individuals, and gives it to another, larger group, with the express intent to "buy" the votes of the recipients, that's redistribution. It's also the Obama/Democrat playbook.

Curious - which group did they do this to during Obama's first term? I don't recall an 'affluent' group having money taken from them & it given to another group.

Unless you're talking about Social Security. Damn socialists...letting seniors have dignity.

You still don't have to buy it under Obamacare.
