Men have become more girly in general which is also evident from today's fashion and habits. Not too far from now in the future i guess we will all look and dress the same, boys and girls

I regularly travel to singapore fro example and there it is already quite hard sometimes to tell the difference between men and women, as they all wear the same clothes and jewellery, continuosly look in the mirror, talk and walk the same way also.

Yeah who wants to get their clubs fitted?

You have to be kidding me. That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen written on this forum. So a guy who stands 6 foot 8 should be happy with his off the shelf clubs?

Why don't you like hybrids? What is unmanly about them? Do you use a 460CC driver? Why don't you scout Ebay and pick yourself up a nice wooden driver from the 30's if you think you're so manly.

You know what is extremely unmanly?

USING A SHIT TONNE OF SMILIES

The 6 foot 8 dude needs to build his own clubs in his workshop like a man.  Or get some elves to do it.

I would definitely add overuse of emojis as number 1.

Why the converse? Don't hate on Chuck. Really, the best selling basketball shoe of all time. Get real.  Club fitting? Come on, let me have you hit a club that is 2* flatter than what you need. I will give you furry animal covers as it kind of goes along with the smilies and maybe hybrids under the three iron and throw in Starbucks. I am still trying to figure out what a club with a non-functional feature is. All my clubs are pretty functional.

I missed that last part - was it in the Singapore travel section I skipped over?

If you think Starbucks is overrated you should visit a medium sized Canadian city between 06:00 and 08:00 then drive by Tim Horton's.

Human skulls do.  That's what I use for head covers.  Human heads.  Seriously.

Is that manly enough?

I also have a zero iron, because my one iron flies too high.

No napping, you may miss something important and life chafing. I meant to say changing but chafing seems more appropriate in regards to this thread.

I have both a hybrid and furry animal headcovers!  Actually, I just put the hybrids in play.  Took out both my 3i and 4i and am rolling with Adams Idea a7 hybrids now.  They launch the ball high and land soft, and I am getting distance I wouldn't have dreamed with the irons.  I don't have to worry about getting a hybrid in the air, like I did with the irons.

Also, furry headcovers.  I have two.  Albert the Alligator on the big stick.  A shout out to my beloved Florida Gators.  And C.J. Dog on my three wood.  I have a Boston Terrier named C.J. and Daphes Headcovers had a Boston, so I bought it and put it on the fairway.

If you're 6'8", the only manly thing to do is to punch some meteorites into clubheads with your fists, and bite rebar to length to use as shafts.

I used to think wearing pink shirts on the course was "girly".  Then, the cart girls and the women working behind the counters started complementing me on them.  I was hooked.  Have a whole closet full of them now.  I balance it out by wearing shoulder pads with metal spikes and cowboy boots with blades that shoot out of the toe, you know, for when the foursome gets a little unruly.

I find that rebar is too light and whippy.  I use the bars from the cell on Alcatraz that I broke out of.

I used prison bars when I first started out, but I started hitting shots left and ballooning; I switched to X-flex rebar tipped 1" and switched from the ProV1 to bridgestone tires.

When you use units of "tonne", you're supposed to specify that you're working in metric units. Eg, it is extremely unmanly to use a metric shit tonne of smilies.

Funnily enough, they actually have a tire fitting app on their website, just like on their golf ball section.

    • Day 14:  I hit a bucket with my 7i and driver, didn’t hit my 7 well but my driver was good.  Played my first “real” 9 holes.  Sure, I had a few mulligans but I kept score.  Lost two balls in the water.  Had to chip from the edge of the water and did pretty good, just rolled too far past the hole.  Par was 33 and I wasn’t double but  I was closer to it than I would have liked.  I had a bogey on 9 so that ended it on a sweet note for me.
    • Day 134 - Had a tournament today, played poorly. Same as yesterday where the driving was great, but the second shots were awful. Need to dial that in tomorrow so I don’t finish DFL.
