Yes, there are definitely some gems on the Student page.  A 398 yard drive is incredible in and of itself, but this guy was only at 60% power on that particular swing!  Doing the math, that comes out to roughly 233 mph club head speed on a full swing.  What do the fastest tour pros measure in terms of club head speed?  What about that long drive competition expert, Sadlowski kid? (edit: after some research, it seems like Zubak and Sadlowski are in the 140-150-ish range).

On another note, it kind of makes me giggle every time I read the phrase "transfer more energy to the shaft."

Sure are a lot of haters. Anyone that talks about doing anything outside the norm is hated on big time without actually investigating whether or not what someone is saying is true.

FYI, the guy with the 398 yard drive, I have witnessed him hitting his 7 iron over the fence at Rancho Park Driving Range which is 240 yards away over a 20 foot high fence. Guy will be making waves in the golf world quickly and you all will feel real dumb for hating on this guy's program.

Tell me more about this 7 iron.  So it carried 240 while still being over 20 feet in the air?  How much further did it carry, by your approximation?

Rancho Park here in Irvine?  LOL... Give me the date and time when this phenom will be practicing... I'd pay admission just to see this.

You're so right!!  I paid my money, got picked up by a limo and the driver dropped me off here:

I was greeted by a guy who looked a lot like this fellow:


And, he told me to get a set of these (with the zz lite shafts, natch)...

I was told that once I completed the program, I'd get to play with these two graduates...

...and this one too.  Although he's not sure why this guy keeps going into the forest even though his ball is in the fairway...

Oh well.  I'm so excited! I can't wait to get started.
