Crazy tying putt by Phil there on 18. I thought it had no chance after the first few huge hops it took off the putter face. EDIT: Wow! Nice putt by Bradley there too. It has to be wild putting for tie after a Phil putt from 28 feet goes in, especially since Phil is the hometown favorite.

There has been some absolutely amazing golf this season so far.

Definitely. It's shaping up to be a pretty amazing Masters, but even some of the WGC events coming up soon. There are a lot of guys playing well early on.

And one of the announcers - I didn't hear who - just described Bradley's wedge shot (first playoff hole) as a "big dig." How long was he sitting on that comment, waiting for the right moment?

Did that shot look weird to anyone else?  I know it's downwind, but that's a huge PW.  And it seemed to be in the air a really short amount of time.  Maybe Keegan delofts his PW a lot, or he hit it thin or something?  Plus, it didn't seem to have much check at all.  It looked weird to me.

Man...I would bring a Sudoku book if I ever went out playing with Bradley. All his fidgeting, lining up here and there, walking back and forth, spitting, waving around the club, etc takes forever.

Very weird flop shot by Phil there. Seeing it in slow-motion it looks like he might have hit it on the upswing just a touch.

Congrats to Bill Haas. It might have been different if Keegan or Phil had pulled it out, but the annals of history will remember his sideways pitchout as a great decision. :-D And he still has more regular-season PGA Tour wins since 2010 than Tiger and Phil combined.

Weird that Phil and Keegan each made a great putt on 18, and they turned out to be meaningless. Great win by Haas; it took more guts to lay up than to go for it, and it paid off.

i know it really shouldnt but Haas winning kinda feels like a bit of an anti-climax to me. not that im not a fan of Bill's but with Phil and Keegan both making those putts on the last i was kinda hoping one of them would take it

Haas isn't quite the fist-pumper that Phil and Keegan are.

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
