Blues vs Kings in the second round!  If the Blues can keep up the defensive pressure I'll go out on a limb and predict they win in 5.  Kings have great defense too so 1 or 2 goals might be enough to win any of these games.

I'm a huge Wings fan but to be honest I don't even care that they're already out... They weren't on top of their game at all and didn't deserve to beat Nashville.

It's really great to see some new blood advancing this year... All the usual, top-teams are pretty much already down and out. I'm hoping to see Los Angeles and Philly in the Finals. Hope LA takes the Cup.

I am a Caps fan and am quite happy with the results last night.  I am most happy with the coaching of Dale Hunter.  Took a lot of guts to basically sit Ovechkin and become a defensive team.   Not sure it will take them more than one more round in the playoffs, but... who knows... I hate to admit it but I think folks may have figure Ovie out... He is a great talent but he needs others around him to step up and take some of the focus off of him to allow him some freedom to perform.

Lets go Caps....

Congrats to the Capitals. They looked like the better team the whole last game. The B's couldn't get the puck out of their own end. The Caps were more aggressive at getting to the puck. They deserved the win. Best of luck. I am embarrassed by all the racist tweets too. Boston is not like that. I've read that a lot of the tweets were not from Boston, but still I am disappointed. I hope someday we can move beyond crap like that.

kinda surprised how the blues are getting worked by LA in this series. granted there's still a period to go here in game 3, but LA is showing no signs of letting up.

Welp, with Giroux out for next game, Philly is gonna have to work their asses off tomorrow night. Hopefully Bryz will keep playing well, and hopefully Lavy will send Carle packing, since two of those goals last night were directly his fault.

That's awesome! Love it. Rangers / Caps game 7 should be a good one. Gotta admit, at this point I don't care who wins as long as it's a good game. Would love to see the Kings win the Cup.

    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
