Wow you guys hunt in a pack don't you. The first I read of Patrick was the ball flight laws thread.....and his argument didn't seem to hold water.....and he got an unmerciful kicking. Fair enough. Then there was the playing with fear thread......I thought it was a reasonable thread, agreed with some posts, on the whole a good thread.......interesting. Then there was the "inside out or outside in" coaching thread ......I reckon that was really good....thought provoking and entertaining. OK,so that's my experience of Patrick. A bit wild and woolly, interesting, thought provoking, argumentative......etc,etc. but I've never been able to understand the complete vehemence of some of the attacks that you guys, especially you Iacas have mounted against Patrick. It seems vindictive. And now he's gone to Golfwrx your still having a go....WTF???I don't know about you guys but whenever I dropped in on TST and there was a Patrick thread I'd read it cause it'd be interesting in some way.....even if I didn't agree with it. Maybe TST has become a little more dull because he's not on here. OH and does that mean the packs attention will be focused on the next person with wacky ideas about our game????.........eek!

Taking the above advice may lead to destruction of your golf game. Laughing at it may reduce stress.

You also missed several posts where he called people names repeatedly, told combat veterans that they were lying about being "fearful" of a golf shot, didn't see his posts about how his "scientific" studies prove 90% of putts are missed left and how we should open the putter face by a length measurement, etc. You missed the video of his students, his own swing, the whole long rant about "natural" swings versus whatever else, and so on.

Suffice to say he did a lot more than you seem to know.

He's moved on, though, so let's leave it at that, I agree.

Come on.  This guy was one of the most immature, insecure, unstable people I've ever come across on a message board.  He had the communication skills, reasoning ability, and mental capacity of a child.  I am not convinced he/she is an actual adult or instructor.

I agree that a few of his posts/topics were decent and thought provoking.  But he behaved like an immature idiot in all of them.  Then, as others mentioned he just created multiple accounts and attacked those who called him out.  Take a look at what he is doing on the other boards.  Completely denying his multiple log ins and his participation on prior boards.   He has ZERO credibility due to his multiple lies and inability to communicate.

This guy is a complete whack job and I'm serious when I say he needs help.

I'll admit I was somewhat entertained by Patrick, but overall he was ignorant and rude.  He discounted anything that varied from what he believed and attacked those who asked him to defend his positions with facts rather than his beliefs.  The videos we saw of his swing and students swings demonstrated that he was hardly the golf guru he claimed to be.  When he was placed in the Penalty Box he chose to create alternate accounts and personalities to push his agenda and went so far as to engage himself in a conversation on one thread to provide one of his alters with credibility.  These are not the actions of a rational, mature adult.  Patrick pushed the TOS boundries regularly and was given more than a few chances to alter his behavior and follow the rules.    Golfwrx will likely ban him as well once he starts to pull the same antics there as he did here.

What i don't get is why you guys spend the energy to even bring this topic up. It has nothing to do with golf. This thread is pathetic.. We know the guy went to another thread, why not just let it go..

Yes i read the thread, but i didn't join in the typical highschool bashing of someone behind there back. I though there was members here that actually had integrity, i am shocked that this forum has let this thread survive. It has nothing to do with golf, or the improvement of anyones game, so i don't see its function here.

Sounds like some of the regulars on this site .  Seriously, the guy had some interesting points and provided some good discussion topics.

It's not about golf, but there are tons of other threads on TST that are not about golf. I'm not too familiar with patrick57, but to be honest, I've clicked on some of his threads and I gave up reading after a paragraph and after scrolling down some responses, he was very condescending, especially to those who try to argue against him.

Partick57's advice was the functional equivilent of hitting someone in the ribs during the back swing. The context and forum of his comments are what made his publications so egregious. He took to another instructors forum, gave faulty advice on the basics of golf physics, and they berated anyone with the tumerity to offer him correct information not only to correct the misinformation he spoutted but in alot of ways to HELP HIM become a better instructor. For the patience given and the trouble gone to to do this, he reacted with the sense of a warthog on crystal methamphetamine. And he did it over and over and over and over again. That's what made it so infuriating for me personally to watch. Logic be damned, the guy knew how to piss people off and succeded famously. Threads such as this amount to a catharsis for some and, If only for that purpose, it is warranted.

I think it is interested to hear about this guy. The frustration mostly lies within the fact that we take golf serious and someone to come here and make off the wall statements and back them up with childish responses. He offended those who were genuinely debating until the person was proven a moron, at least so I am seeing. Secondly, most individuals prefer to vent or get something out that has upset them especially around like minded or sympathetic ears.

So let peeps vent, the sad part is that this guy is probably getting sick satisfaction that he pissed every one off here. Fake webb take note here and for god sakes change your damn name.

I have just looked up some of his threads and I agree the guy's a total moron. But (OP) Poser's a bit of a plank too.

Id have to agree that theres plenty of threads on this site that have nothing to do with golf.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
