I appreciate you asking this b/c was about to post the same question but then saw this one.  One question I have is what fees come with using GolfNow and how many rounds do you have to book to avoid them?

I usually use GN but more often than not I check the course's site to view available times and plan what would be a good time to walk on. The best thing about GN is the discounts. Though my experience is the busier courses aren't using GN these days. Some of the cheap tee times I've booked on GN have been pretty bad, poor course condition etc.

like 2 dollars per person but once you book 10 times I believe your a "frequent member" and dont have to pay anymore. Mine were gone real quick. Ill also play a 15 dollar course after 4 pretty often and at least once a weekend

This is slightly related to the topic. For my SIR Branch, I created a website to let our members signup online for scheduled tournaments. The Tournament Coordinator enters the course and start time into my website. Members sign themselves up, creating their own foursomes and selecting the tee time they prefer. Members are very pleased with this self-serve signup and the Tournament Coordinator is happy because it eliminates the emails and spreadsheet work.

    • Still plugging away with the teacher.  I do have a question after working on some drills last night. This is something I should know already but for some reason, I have gotten myself confused. It deals with weight transfer on the downswing. At what point, should that take place?  Should it be early (prior to reaching A4) ?  I ask because in one of my drills  I get to A4, I feel the weight transfer AS my arms drop, and then go.  Now this may be totally normal, but I "feel" like this gets me in a weird timing position and causes me to try and do too much at once.
    • Tentatively in for at least one of those days. My job situation is a bit up in the air at the moment so need to get that sorted out first then I'll know more for sure or not.
