My dad and I recently switched golf bags because I play more than him and I was looking into buying golf shoes and he said something about having a pair somewhere that would probably fit... Well today i was practicing in my backyard and i put my glove in my bag and i felt something, so I unzipped a pocket and there were the shoes he was talking about footjoy and they fit... By the way they are basically new

When my bag broke a long time ago during high school I switched and used my dads bag, from I don't know when untill I got a new one. One day during practice I found a coke can from like the 1970's-80's. It was fun to see what they looked like before I was born.

After a bad tee shot it does not mean the hole is over, it means you have an opportunity to show what you are made of!

I was golfing with a buddy the other day and he was having trouble putting a club in his bag because it was hitting something.  We fished out a baby bib, plastic toy and a 1/2 eaten piece of toast out of his bag......

Myself...this year at the beginning of the season while I was getting everything ready to go,  I found $50 bucks in there that I must have stashed from last season....that was cool.

After several rounds of golf with my current bag that I had bought at the PGA Tour Superstore here in Atlanta, I discovered a Callaway glove stuffed deep down in one of the pockets.  It was too small for me though.

Just today (about 20 mins ago actually haha) I found a mouse nest and a box of cigars in my grandpas golf bag because I was looking for a club cleaning kit. He hasn't golfed in probably 10 years. Still young, but never really enjoyed the sport

I found a warm beer and a smashed-to-powder breakfast cookie in my bag today.

Consumed both upon inspection.

    • Day 36: back to some mirror work tonight. Need a bit more forearm roll in my feels to help with the shallowing.
    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
    • I haven't been able to practice like I wanted and won't for the next week.  1. The weather sucks in Ohio this year. I have been mostly inside hitting foam balls. Just kind of my basic stuff.  2. I woke up last Saturday with a left side rib muscle on fire. If I turned or leaned a certain way it would spasm that almost buckled my knees. I have been taking a break to let that settle. I don't want to get a long term injury. I think I pinched a nerve or just aggravated a muscles.   3. I am going on a mini-vacation to Florida (screw you Ohio weather) with a friend, and rolling that into a work conference I have next week. I will be with out my clubs for a week.  I will be back next in two Fridays to hit the ground running with some warmer temps and better weather in Ohio, hopefully. I would really like to get more out on the course and the range.
