Wilson Staff 8875

Wilson Staff 8881

Scotty Cameron 009

Seemore Si-4 which is currently in the bag, and I love.

I prefer the SC to the 8875, but like the 8881 better than both. The SeeMore is the best putter I have ever used.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

I just came across an old Slotline Inertial that I just loved 30 or so years ago.  I'll take it to the practice green tomorrow and see if I like it again.  I also have the matching Chipper.  Blast from the past for sure.

Just the one ....Odyssey XG 7.....but I'm switching the stock grip to the Black Widow Widow Maker mid-size grip that just arrived to see if that cures what ails me.

I only have one.  I also only have only one driver but for some reason I have 4 iron sets and 5 wedges.  I also have 2 hybrids despite not being able to hit any of them well and I keep none in the bag unless it is one of the 2 times a year I go to the range.  I know this doesn't make much sense considering that I hit my putter and driver about 42 times per round and all the others about 51.  So I have 2 clubs I will hit 42 times a round and 41 clubs that I will hit 51 times a round.

Edit: I also now carry a 3w and have another 5w that I don't use so now it is 43 clubs.

What is the purpose of having multiple putters?

Mostly for those of us who suck at putting and would rather blame the arrow than the Indian..... ;-)

I have four. Two blades and two mallets. For me, switching up is a little thing that starts improving my game and gives me confidence. Trying different hand positions is another thing I try as well.

I have three Yes! putters.  A Tracy, a Carolyne, and a Nicky.  One will be in the bag, one in the trunk of my car, and the other in the closet at home depending on how they are behaving.  Carolyne had been in the bag for about six months but got ditched for Tracy again recently.  Over the past couple of years, Tracy has behaved the best and Nicky, while extremely beautiful, can not be considered very faithful.

3 here - none has risen to front runner position ... alternate between them regularly.

I sense a business opportunity here to create a "Putter Exchange", basically a Netflix for putters.   For a regular fee members can try out different putters in search of something that works or just to play with a lot of different types.     You could donate a putter to the Exchange and get credit for future rentals as well.    Kind of a "Putter of the Month" club.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
