Some great sneak peek pics of Callaway's new X Hot Irons (Pro and Non-Pro) and fairway woods for 2013. No driver yet, but stay tuned.

Tough to always tell from just looking at pics but the irons look like a nice upgrade from previous models.  Fairway woods look sexy with the black matte crown.  What do you guys think?

For in hand pics from our visit to Callaway go here

Minus the X design on the back, it looks very similar to the AP1 & 2. A topline pic would be nice.

The matte black crown on the woods is nice... It's one thing that I really liked about the i20 when I saw it and this looks like a pretty similar finish.

I like the look of the fairway wood. I think they did a nice job on that design.

Is it black or is it gray? It could be the lighting making it gray but I'm not sure. I do like the sole design of the woods. Very subtle

For some reason OEM's rarely take address pics, and when they do it looks terrible.  Club face looks hooded or it's a topline shot with the club head of the ground.  Hopefully I can share a few topline pics in a couple weeks.

I've noticed that the address view is usually not advertised when new clubs are announced (except maybe Titleist). It's actually the view where I can make a judgement on a club because it's what you see before you hit the ball. But anyway, I'll look forward to it in a few weeks.

I have always played Callaways, but this last round with the razer X was not up to par for my liking but like the new woods. Have to wonder what if anything was really changed this year in performace. I guess only time will tell if they really got a hit, to bad looking at new irons and Callaway was not on the list for the first time.

Not a huge fan of the look of the woods! The irons look pretty nice, not as sweet as the new 2013 razr forged! I play the Diablo forged and absolutely love them!

The woods are well done.  Very sleek.

It's gray. I think it looks really nice. It's matte so no glare, but also not bright white.

    • I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers
    • is it though?????? "Millions of fans"?????
    • Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.
    • So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
    • It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
