I currently play the lethal and it is a great ball, it just is so rediculusly expensive!  Any recomendations for a replacement around $30 a dozen?

Putter:  Classic Black Platinum 1

Driver:  R1 Stiff flex

3 Wood:  AMP - Regular flex, 15 degrees

3 Hybrid:  Baffler T-Rail - Regular flex, 19 degrees

Irons: :tmade: MC Forged - PW-4

Wedges: :cleve: 588 RTX 2.0 Tour Blade Black Satin - 52.10 and 58.10

Ball:  Pro V1x

Play the Penta TP5, it's last years version of the Lethal.  I've been picking them up for $25 / dozen

What's the deal with the Lethal? Some pro was telling me that I need to check it out. He said it is long off the tee. Anyone?

Actually they are pretty good off the tee.  At least for me!

This guy was telling me that for guys @ 100 ss it was a ball to reckon with.

Yes, but they are now at ProV prices ...

I just can't get myself to pay more than $32-35 for a premium ball.

$25 for the TP5 is even better.

This is a Pro V1x/Lethal/Penta/anything quality ball for $35: KickX Tour Z . It's the ball I play. Sorry, but true - and I wouldn't play it if it didn't work well, as I can get balls free (enough to play anyway) from anyone.

Dang! Really? I just bought a couple dozen tp3's because they were that price. I would have preferred the 5's but they weren't on sale yet. And, Erik, I also intend on trying out the kick x too! I've been experimenting all around lately. Liking the tp3s for now.

One of my buddies over at the PGA Superstore gave me a sleeve of the TM Lethal to play last week. I really liked them. Then I went into the store and saw a box on the shelf.....$45.99! No thanks.

Yes, TP5's have been discounted almost everywhere.  Check out RockBottom, they are selling TP5's for $26.99, TP5 Practice for $19.99 and TP3 for $19.99.

Why not the Wilson Staff FG or FG Tour. Great balls for the money if you can live without feeling you have to have the "it" brands. If you really want to save try the Wilson Duo.

Yes, and yes. TM hasn't released a ball in nearly 2 years, which is a loooooong time for them.

      I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family

      First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
