been playing since the beginning of last summer. so just over a year.

In my stand Bag:

R7 Superquad 10.5* Fujikura REAX 65-S
Hi-Bore XLS 19* Hybrid Dynamic Gold S300
MP-60 4 thru PW Dynamic Gold S300 .588 REG 54* SW Vokey 58* LWSTX Greeny IV putter

Been beating the ball around since I was 6 or 7, but didn't take it seriously until this year, the end of March, to be specific.

Also, up until this year, I was bad. Baaaaad . I'd card in a 120 but it would really be 180. My drive, if I hit it good would be umm...three fairways over. And I'd four chip and four putt. That way.

Started hitting balls about two years ago, just casually. Started playing for-real last August.

started playing in 01' with my Uncle when he retired from the MTA (played once a week) then my Wife and I started a family and had our 1st child in 03' and then we moved up here to Pa. from Md. and had our 2nd child in 05'.

I didn't even touch a club for over 3 yrs, (they sat in my basement until this yr) I started playing this season and believe it or not, maybe I take the game more serious now, cause I've actually gotten better then before and posted my best score to date (don't laugh you low cappers) a 87 with thus far my low this season a 96, and I play at least once a week sometimes 2 times a week........I'm happy

I went with my cousin the summer before my freshman year in H.S. (1991) to a two-hour golf camp. I bought a 7-iron that fall and got golf clubs for Christmas (i.e. I spent my Christmas money on them). I played that year and made the high school team as a sophomore (1992, my first year really playing). We won the county championship the next five years (the first three with me obviously). I improved from an average of 95 to 85 to 75 the three years I was on the team, and the summer before senior year I won the Erie County singles under-18 tournament played over three courses.

I went to college, graduated in 2001, and didn't really play much again until about 2003. Since then I've renewed my passion quite a bit.

So the numbers seem to be 15 years, but at least seven of those years I probably played less than twice per year.

Caddied for my dad when I was 9. Hit balls so I guess thats when I started.
Got a class a caddie badge at 10 (when muni courses had lots of kids standing by, a caddie shack, and usually a caddie master) Got my first full set of new kids clubs (macgregor) when I was 11. I calculate I have been playing for 60 + years.
If I could translate knowledge to execution I'd be a plus 3 like my dad was. But I suffer from L.O.F.T. Still play ... try for 3-4 days a week. Never on weekends.

I've been dabbling since 1972, but got really serious till about 20 years ago. Shot a 79 for my carreer low, but I can't get my HC down below 14. Currently 15.

Oh well, its a great game.

10 years considering I started when I was 8. I didn't really do a lot of on course golfing until I was eleven because I didn't have a pass until then but I still would hit balls in my backyard from one end to the other (30 yards I think) constantly before I could be on the course a lot.

    • Thanks and I will, pt is progressing nicely my range of motion has been getting better and hopefully once all the pain recedes I can start working on getting my strength back in my arm I don't think I should go back to work until I'm feeling close to what I was before the injury.
    • Small hand syndrome, I said to the coach it felt palmy but he checked for me at the top of the backswing and said it was fine, still under the fat pad etc.   It will become less pronounced the more I strengthen it as I bring it a little stronger bit by bit until the ball flight straightens out
    • Day 10 - Iron swings, back to focusing on speed. Really happy with the numbers I was seeing.    Finished with some wedge shots, trying to get as close to 50 yards as possible.
