First Hole in 1 - Par 3 course -Does it "count" ?

So after about 18 years of golf, I finally got my first hole in one, maybe...

I took my 8 year old son out to a nice par 3 course here in Milwaukee. On the 4th hole, I knocked one in. 140 yd hole, uphill, so nothing easy.

A friend of mine was giving me grief that this "doesn't count" since it wasn't on a full size course during a standard round.

Any thoughts?
Driver G5 , 10.5 Degrees
3 Wood X-Hot
Hybrid Rescue Dual 3 Hybrid
Irons LCG 4-PW

If you teed up a ball and hit a golf shot that found the bottom of the cup, it counts. Nice job!

i would agree with that, dosent matter where it is, as long as u used a golf club to hit a golf ball on a golf course, it counts as a hole in one

Nice! Congrats! I'd say it definitely counts. If it was in the ~75 yd. range I'd say it still counts, but maybe with an asterisk. But, 140, absolutely no doubt.

Congrats! And yes, it counts. Especially at 140 yards.

My friend and I have a combined 15 at a local par 3 course where we work and have played over 400 rounds at in 3 years. We count all of them even though my 6 were on "holes" less than 90 yards.

In my bag:
