Take dead aim to a spot on the fairways on tee shots and forget everything else. (Little Red Book)
Stay below the hole almost always, especially if greens are big and fast, even if that means missing short on some wedges. For me, a short chip uphill is preferable to a long, downhill putt.
Playing a new course tomorrow. Will I follow my own advice???
Sorry, I'm not up on the tech, but these numbers are driver only averages? I think I was averaging around 107 or 108 today on the machine at my range, but I wasn't sure how to work it. It was flashing a faster number too but maybe that was the ball speed. A little slow relative to the above number but they were dead range balls.
I don't feel like my swing is as loose and free as it could be and I probably swing harder than I should. I wonder how close to 100% most pros are swinging.
Been solely working of my tempo in the last week. As a result, my strikes are better and position throughout the swing are almost exactly where I want them to be. Will keep up the tempo work this week.
Lol yeah, my only bogey free round and my only 43 putts round...par 71. hopefully the last one will never happen again.
I agree that hitting the green is key and hitting the driver well makes it even easier.
