Do you use the pitching wedge from your set, or another one?

I use the one from my set but I don't think it would be a bad idea to use a Vokey or something of that sort like you said.

My PW is 45° loft...so this would be a big gap from my 9 to the vokey wedge or else I may get it.

I use the pitching wedge from my set, but it's only good for full shots. It imparts almost no spin on the ball, making it useless for pitch shots. Sometimes I'll also use it for a chip when I need a bump and run, though.

When I get the money I'm replacing it with a 48 degree Vokey or MP-R, and having it bent to 46.

I use my PW from my set. I have no problems with it as it give me great spin and control. It's when I get to my other wedges that gets me into trouble.

I use my pitching wedge from my set, only for full shots or choked down knockdown shots. I love that club.

I love to hate this damn game.

The PW from my set has just as much spin as my other wedges. Gotta love forged sets.

I use my set wedge. I used to use a 48* vokey 200 until I left it on a hole about 3-4 months ago I think the difference is not really in performance, but in set-up and appearance. My set PW looks more like an iron than a wedge. The Vokey has more of a softer wedge feel to it on all shots. It also looks more playable to me, than my set wedge for chipping and various open face shots. I wouldn't recommend using a Vokey or CG PW if your iron set is an oversize game improvement model with quite a bit of offset the difference from pw to 9 would be possibly a bit too radical in the looks department.

I use mine but only for full or 3/4 shots... i do not use it to chip as i struggle with it.

The HiBore PW isn't worth a crap so I use a Ping Rapture knock off from gigagolf as my PW. Much more accurate.

Right now I am using a Ben Hogan Apex 49 degree wedge and a set of mixed Mizuno irons. For the last few years I have used a separate pitching wedge from the iron set.

I swapped out my Callaway x series pw and sw with callaway forged wedges. My PW was a 46 degree and swapped with a 48 degree forged. The sand wedge was the same 56 degree and recently added a 60 degree to round out the set.

PW from my set. It is 45*. Now that I've added a 50* gap wedge, the PW is only for full shots and some knockdown shots.
