• #### Introducing TST "Clubs!"08/28/2017

No, we're not getting into the equipment business, but we do have "clubs" here on TST now. Groups. Check them out here:

I posted it in another thread, but I feel like it deserves its own...

We've all read about the guys who average 374 yard drives into a headwind in the rain. But there's never been a way to figure out where that "average" number comes from....

Until now.

I've developed the Internet Adjustment Formula (Props to Lihu for the name) which allows you to determine your own Internet Adjusted driver distance, as well as figure out someone's actual driver distance based on their EPS (E-Penis Size).

The formula shows that

IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)

Where,

ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)

Now, based on this...let's say your actual average driver distance is 243 yards, and you have an e-penis size of 14".

However, if the EPS is reduced to 6", your IAD is just over 246 yards...which is almost spot on accurate with the ADD.

The poster's opinion of Holly's boobs have to play some kind of role in there somewhere.

What's the conversion rate from angstroms to inches again?

I haven't crunched the numbers, but if they claim in any way that they would not wreck her (assuming single/hetero status), assume their EPS is at least 16". That's some serious internet machoism.

1 angstrom = 3.93700787 × 10 -9 inches

Leave it to Slice to find a way to fit his love of penises into his signature.

Looks real good above that butt Badge he's got.

LOL

That's too freakin' funny...

My penis is 325 yards long? That doesn't seem right.

Angstroms. You forgot to convert it back.

Ah. Damn scientific notation.

BTW, here are graphs to demonstrate a couple examples...

These two graphs show the IAD (y-axis) relative to the ADD (x-axis). ADD values of 250, 300, and 350 have been marked to show the difference between an EPS of 6", and an EPS of 12".

omg this is funny thread. And I love slice's sig now!

good lord help us all, the crazy epenis talk.

Perhaps TST should rate its members' e-penis sizes every few years, setting the average to an arbitrary 113 units.

I shouldn't have brought this up, earlier. :-) My fault, sorry.

OMFG I DIDN'T SEE THAT UNTIL NOW.

HAHAHAHA, literally just belly laughed by myself in my living room. I can't take credit for it, it's gotta be Erik's doing. And it's absolutely staying.

229 yards...that does not seem right, I drive the ball about 260 normally.  Wait does EPS mean like an exaggerated penis size?  Never mind let me recalculate this.

Ok, you're a humble guy, so I'd give you an EPS of around 6.2".

That must have been right after he came out of cold pool.   It happens.

Contrary to what most people think, Napoleon's size of you know what is normal.   They kept the poor general (or emperor's) manhood.   It's all dried up and shrunk and people deduced that he had a small man's best friend.   It happens.

• Thank you for the kind words.   I have been  having a good time and don't mean to ruffle any Feathers.     I look forward to more.
• I think that would be fun to watch.   It's kind of like making the nascar guys race on 2 road courses every year.    Old gear tournaments with top tour pro's ... I'd drive to see that.
• Previously,  I did try to map out and practice a 50% and a 75% distance map range for each of my clubs, but it started to mess with my contact.  I'm not ready to 'choose' to put in the time for that much even for the benefit - you know my play philosophy.... so I have pretty much have my 'full' swing and my 'extra' swing - both of which I'm very happy with.  I've added a little loft/deloft swing thoughts to them for fine tuning.  Half swings are pretty much a 'thumb rule' at this point for distance only - it'll be fun when I'm ready to learn those too, however, I imagine there's a lot of control I'll be able to add to my approaches.  For now, I pretty much use those when I have to punch out from under something - i.e., my half 8i is about 100 yards vs a SW 100 yard 'full'.  So I can get a little lower.  Anything else is just a 'feel' shot.  and it takes practice to get repeatable for 'feel' shots.....practice I'm not committing to at this time. Frankly, I'm liking Erik's post about 'hooding'/punching lower flight shots on another thread, I like the 'feel' better and suspect I can get more bang for less practice.
• Sure there is a distance threshold to entry at the elite level but delta between shorter and longer hitter hasn't changed. If anything the equipment is optimized (best energy transfer with most repeat-ability) helping EVERYBODY to make distance more of a differentiating skill than it ever was. i.e., it is more of a skill based meritocracy now than it ever was.    Sweet...! I'll take two of each. Gotta be some 'formula'. "The trap 270 out ain't really in play for me bro.."  And really juiced up about the 'no-consequence' part..
• Hey Joro - WELCOME to the Sandtrap.  I bet you have some great stories and fun comments.  It's good discussion with a great crowd and the disagreements are fun too if you remember it's just a game we all like.
