When using your Casio or whatever camera to shoot video outdoors, what are its limits in terms of water and cold temps can it tolerate?

I usually put a towel or jacket over it if it sprinkles just a little and then if it's just slightly sprinkling, take a quick video.

I'm guessing human tolerance for cold temps will be tested well before it tests the camera, but I assume 25-35 degrees exposure, most cameras can tolerate it?

Anyone ever make a makeshift cover that attaches to a tripod for light rain?

If you can hit balls, your camera should be fine.

Battery performance will suffer in the cold, though.

Doh, didn't think of the obvious - the umbrella - I'll have to figure out a way to balance the umbrella while filming.

I can put a ziplock or plastic sandwich type bag over it, but mine is a point and shoot so the lens opens and close, I'll have to figure that out.

I open the umbrella and stick it grip-first into my bag like I'd do with a club, except I don't slide it all the way in. Then just let it hang over the tripod.
