Simply list your everyday grievances with like-minded others (hopefully with some funnies thrown in). My first major gripe:

People who swing their arms too much when walking and you have to half-twerk behind them just to avoid getting punched in the nuts. Or worse, get cupped.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

People who smoke while walking along a crowded side walk

People who use a ton of change to buy something, go to the bank and get some bills

People who don't use their blinker

People who ride your bumper, then pass you only to slow back down

Golfers who don't yell FOUR

I'm not sure if it's common in the States but left lane drivers here (at least in Ontario) are maddening.  Just outside the town we live in has a regional road where the old farts get out in the left lane and just sit there.

We also have round-a-bouts in our new sub-division which apparently cause people here to just totally lose all common sense. It's like they just suddenly drove into a foreign country and don't know how to drive. Even if you've never driven in one, everything you need to know is right in front of you.  A yield sign entering and a one way sign. What more do these people need?!

People who whine........

Oh, I can't stand whiners either, complaining all the time.  There's always something that annoys these people................................ wait, what?:-D

I once had a big discussion with a guy about this.  There definitely seems to be two schools of thought.  So - at what speed does this become maddening?  That is to say, what if they are driving slower than you, but they are at or above the speed limit?

It's all relative. The right lane is for cruising, and the left lane is for passing. If you are not passing someone or about to in the near future... get out of the left lane.

People who park in front of my parents' house - they or one person in particular, probably a neighbor, dumps his cigarette butts on the lawn. Sometimes an empty pack (Marlboro wimp), sometimes a muscle drink container. Hey, thanks for treating your neighbor's property like a garbage dump. A***ole.

If it is wide open, I think almost everyone would agree on that - and we're all mad at the old farts.  But the part in bold is very subjective and probably where most of the problems come from.  Possibly an endless argument with no clear solution.

That's terrible.  I take it they live in an urban situation?  I can't imagine that near where I live.

This is suburbia, in a good neighborhood, good schools, average value of a house on their block is well above 500K USD. I guess people feel entitled.

There's always some bits of garbage (and traces of discarded dog cr@p) in front of my place but I'm in the urban situation - Manhattan. Don't get me started on the dog poop. It's a land mine out there sometimes. More so in front of some of the $1M+/unit buildings.

I think if you're in the left lane and someone approaches, you need to move right. As soon as you see them in your rear view mirror.

Maybe that's part of the problem, they don't use their mirrors?

I don't know about other states but it is the law in PA on divided highways, yet I spend my life passing drivers on the right.

And why don't some people make a left turn from a turning lane when there is nobody coming from the other direction? WTF is up with that? TURN, DUDE! Some of us have somewhere to go!

When I first moved into my neighborhood, I noticed cigarette butts on my front lawn when I was cutting the grass. It was 5-6 of them in a pile every week. One day, my wife was home and she saw my neighbor's mother smoking and leaving her butt on our lawn (she was watching their kids while they worked). I had to tell my neighbor (he didn't know she was smoking) and got the stinkeye whenever I saw his Mom after that, but at least she stopped doing it.

Golf related...People who stand around and crowd the first tee while your group is up, like you are somehow holding them up.

Well, while you eliminated the butts, you may have helped stinkeye's health.

Close standers on the golf course are the worse. Especially those with carts when they drive right up with their cart right in front of you. There are acres and acres of land around and they drive up right next to you. Sometimes I hope the dirt spray pegs them right in the eye. I bet they're the ones who use the spot right next to you at an empty range.

    • Not really, no. I don't know the history, what you've worked on, what you've tried and moved away from… etc.
    • Day 9: 2/16/25 Putting through 50 mm gates from 11”. Swing pressure shift drills.
    • Definitely not a favorite… For some reason my wife and I started watching Cobra Kai. I know the original was pretty cheesy, but the inability of these people to get over shit that happened like 30 years ago is astounding. And these kids would be arrested, but they don’t even seem to get suspended from school. Would Danny not notice that Johnny’s son looks like Johnny? Etc.? Why would a completely different dojo that has the same name be “banned”? Oy. Not sure we’ll make it to season 2.
    • Day 139 - 2025-02-16 Weather led to a rescheduled GEARS lesson, so I used the time to work on my swing for 60 minutes or so. All downswing stuff. Some swings at 93 MPH. Most around 75-80.
    • A question I have is…this swing (fade, pull cut) does not  feel as good and easily repeatable as the draw swing we were working on previously.  I’m kinda in a weird spot where I do not know which direction will be the best to pursue. I like seeing a penetrating 5 yard draw but also like the thought of the fade not getting away from me as much.    Any thoughts on that?
