Just as an update, I ended up getting the Garmin Approach G6. It was marked down to like $160 on Amazon on Prime Day (not that it was a Prime Day deal, but just happened to be cheaper) so it was kind of a no brainer for me. Was able to get all the functionality that I want without it being a really expensive watch.

Picked up an aftermarket belt holder for it, too, on a gut feeling that the clip that's included sucks, which it does. Used it today and I am very happy with it. Now I am able to GamePlan better than I could before.

As an additional benefit and one I hadn't considered, I am able to operate the handheld with one hand, which is convenient for using the scorecard function or previewing the next hole while I am pulling my cart.

What's the aftermarket belt holder you got? The clip on my belt holder for my G6 broke a while ago, and I should probably replace it at some point...

This one. It's a little deeper than the G6 is long so you kind of have to push it up from the bottom to get it out, but other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

I just got the Bushnell Neo xs watch.  It's working great, I love having it on my wrist.  It's so easy to use, I like that the watch presents no distractions while playing, I'm not having to fiddle with anything to get distances.

I'm retiring my Bushnell V3 rangefinder.

Thanks. I'm going to give that a shot. Hard to see the downside in spending $8.

I've just been putting it in my pocket since the clip broke, which is fine. A little more fiddling then I'd sometimes like, so I'd like to be able to put it on my belt.
