Rory has already made more money than she could possibly make as a Professional tennis player for her whole career. Someone needs to take her aside an explain things to her.

Interestingly I checked but believe it or not Rory has already won 26 million dollars in career winnings and Wozniacki has won 16 million dollars. To be honest I find both these amounts higher than I would have guessed. They are both just 24 years old.

I am wondering if Rory feels more secure with Woz. because she obviously doesn't need his money as much as others might. Maybe just setting a few ground rules will fix the problem.

I will say one thing it is nice to see two young successful people who are not getting arrested for stupid things like drag racing drunk and stoned or taking a dirt nap from a drug overdose!

Now I didn't see this happening live so I'm not sure exactly what is going on in this picture but it makes me think it's pretty surprising that the Tour doesn't have major liability concerns about daft civilians wondering around the tee box. I suspect it your were to get beaned by Rory's backswing, or god forbid his followthrough, you would be damn lucky to walk away with just a concussion.

Not sure why all the venom.  She's also an ultra-elite athlete.  They're getting married and are presumably best friends and talk about their athletic endeavors and challenges and mental game and whatnot pretty much constantly.  I mean, my wife is not much of an athlete at all and she knows a ridiculous amount about my swing and mental game after all these years chatting with me about it.  If she were an athlete of equivalent ability and obsession as me (in her own chosen sport), I could totally see it being a mental advantage to have her with me during an important round, reminding me of some mental keys, or maybe just being around and helping me from getting hung up on mistakes or too tight or whatever.

Everyone seems to like Sergio having his girlfriend on the bag!  Sure, it makes more sense for her to actually be on the bag given she's also a golfer, but Wozniacki is a more elite athlete than Sergio's girlfriend, so it seems like the possible mental advantage of having her inside the ropes seems even bigger than it is for Sergio, even though she's not an expert golfer so Rory doesn't want his woman actually on the bag.

It is in a pro-am from last year, part of the video shows Rory racking back a missed putt to have another go.

To be honest this isn't much difference than when she dragged Rory out of the crowd in an exhibition to play a couple of points against Sharapova.

If it was in a competition round it would be a huge issue.

@mdl if she starts giving advice whilst she is inside the ropes I think that is a breach of the rules, not allowed two caddies at the same time.

There's quite a bit of difference in using a wife or girlfriend as a caddy and having one crawling under the ropes between shots to try to get in the limelight (or whatever the Hell she's trying to do).
